ESO PC to Console copy. Major missing part, where is my free 30 days of ESO Plus?

As the title suggest, where is my 30 days? Will I get it when the game launches on the console? That makes the most sense to me, but I have not even seen it being mentioned.

Thanks,

Now that the game no longer requires a subscription, there is no gametime included with the transfer . . . or, depending on your perspective, there's unlimited gametime included with the transfer.

While I understand there is no required gametime, the original requirements are still in place. I was required to purchase this game (even if i really didn't want to) before 6/30/2014 to be eligible for the upgrade. At the time of my purchase, I was given a list of what I would receive.

This is what I was told I would receive, and there was no stipulation as to whether anything would change.

Option to add a full, digital version of ESO on either the PS4 or the Xbox One with your character transfer(s). and 30 days of included game time.

Game time at this present time == ESO Plus.

You haven't gotten rid of the subscription, you have just changed its name and its requirement.

I only feel that I completed my side of the requirements, I only expect ZeniMax to uphold theirs is all.

You don't get ESO plus for buying the PC version. Your argument is invalid but subject to their terms and conditions which can be changed without prior notice.

The thing of it is, most people that the game was going to be free to play by the time it came to consoles. But as all F2P game there is still a subscription for "premium status". This is exactly what i was expecting to get, was a month of the "premium status"

My issue is this, I was required to agree to a set of rules in a timely fashion. The rules are still on their website.

    http://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/2014/05/08/eso-on-consoles--update

Via a special offer, anyone who purchases and activates the PC/Mac version of The Elder Scrolls Online by 6/30/14 (11:59pm UTC) will have the opportunity to transfer their character(s) to either console version when they are released. The offer will allow you to begin playing immediately on the PC/Mac, and then add the PS4 or Xbox One version and transfer the character(s) you have created and developed. And, you don’t have to pay full price for the game twice. For $20, eligible PC and Mac players will have the option to add a full, digital version of ESO on either the PS4 or the Xbox One with your character transfer(s), and another 30 days of included game time.

That really don't work when its in writing and has no notion of changing.

What I mean by that, is I am not complaining about their game changing in anyway. What they can not change is their commitment they made to me, in return to the commitment I made in the required time frame.

I would have of course not made that commitment if it had not been set in writing.

So this is my issue, I had a limited time to make my purchase. Because I had to make this choice in that limited time, Zenimax provided set of items they would abide to, to make you want to purchase it.

The succeeded, and I made the purchase. Now that it is time for them to pay their dues, they are short changing me.

I really only see two options.

Option A, provide all goods offered

Option B, refund all costs on the original offer.

Either will be fine with me.

I did not want to buy this game for the PC. It is horrible on the PC. I did not play it really at all. Losing that character would be completely acceptable if I was to be refunded my imperial edition.

I only bought it because Zenimax said here are your choices, and here are your rewards for jumping on board now.

Like i said, I completed my end of the deal. All I want is ZeniMax to do the same, or reimburse me as they do not wish to uphold the original deal.

If ZeniMax wishes to turn this to a private deal, I am completely fine with them removing this post and contacting me privately.

I have stayed on the phone for over an hour to try to talk to some one, and i have tried to talk to some one through support tickets. Nothing is done in a timely matter, and is why i created the post.

I have an Xbox One and was considering getting it does this $20.00 transfer also include a full version of the games? Meaning Xbox One for me of course. I also do run the game on max @ 1080p on my laptop, but would love to also have an Xbox One version with me always troubleshooting my laptop. Also if I have the Imperial Edition on PC and I pay for the $20.00 transfer does that mean I get a console digital Imperial as well along with the explorers pack pre-order bonus? or does it only include regular with no extra explorers pack like offered at retailers? I already own the explorers pack on PC.

Since "game time" is no longer in existence, you can't get 30 days of it. You don't get 30 days ESO Plus with a new purchase, so the equivalent benefit that you should expect is 500 Crowns, as that is what replaced the 30 days for new purchases. @ZOS_AlanG someone really should change that http://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/2014/05/08/eso-on-consoles--update page and take out and another 30 days of included game time.

If you go back and read the notice about console not being released and the offer to transfer they said they would finalise the details and let us know it was not a final offer merely a statement of intent.

The commitment was about giving PC accounts a $20 copy of the game based on their "terms and conditions" which if you read the agreements are subject to change. IF they decided to not release the console version at all then maybe you have an argument but them changing the terms like the 30 day window prior to anyone seeing anything and without providing any new information, is a term and condition.

I also believe that you're understanding of "commitment" and "entitlement" are off base.
If suggest spending time reading their legal info around the game...game usage and also read the platform of your choice...same info just so you don't set yourself up with unrealistic expectations.

This was always the case. Sony "suggested" they would be willing to waive PS plus so their players wouldn't have to pay both PS plus and a sub...however Sony never said they would waive PS Plus if there were not a sub. Xbox has always stated XBL gold is required for online play.

The rumors and media suggested things were not applicable but never did Sony or Xbox remove the requirement. They only made suggestions and stated that ZOS and them are in ongoing discussions to be finalized at a later date.

No the 500 crowns are only for a brand new purchase.
Bad wording on my part (again). 500 Crowns is the replacement for 30 days free time with new purchases, but there's no reason that anyone "should expect" it with console transfer. But since they were offering 30 days free time as part of the transfer, 500 Crowns would be the logical alternative that "could" be seen.

    Wrong,

Their commitment was getting a copy + something else. It was never just a copy of the game. If that was the case, there was never a reason to do it. May as well have waited. Again, i will either request I get the 30 days of ESO plus, or be refunded my Imperial edition. Which ever they feel is the lesser lose, will be the one they will do I am sure. What sucks is the other hundreds of people that did the same deal will miss out because they may read your misinformation and take it as fact.

The fact is, I have in writing what will be given to me, or will if it is felt that they do not want to uphold what they put in writing ( there are many instances talking where game time and ESO Plus is the same thing) they can refund me my initial costs which is like 80$. Then I will go buy the console copy for 30$ and save money. Or they can just give me the 15$ game time they promised, and be done with it.

Their choice, but those are the only 2 options I will accept.

This is why I use my credit card that allows me to go back 2 years for disputes. Companies are not reliable and go back on their word to much.

    .

: the crime of using dishonest methods to take something valuable from another person

: a person who pretends to be what he or she is not in order to trick people

: a copy of something that is meant to look like the real thing in order to trick people

They used the 15$ monthly gametime to add an incentive to the offer. They have removed that incentive which means there was no reason to purchase for 80$ a year ago. They may have fooled you about the game going free to play, but it was obvious in regards to the consoles. Again, i have no doubt I will get either or, it is the others that should be getting their full deal that sucks.

The issue here, is you are referencing terms and conditions that are regarding their game. The terms and conditions do not comply with their special offering. As I never had to agree to terms and conditions. I had to agree to them to play their game, but has nothing at all to do with the offer.

What happened when they had users that had paid for a 6 month game time subscription and ended the subscription model? They gave them ESO Plus for the time frame they had paid for. This is exactly the same thing. All they need to do is provide ESO plus in place of.

If you want to go by the original terms of sale, fine. I'm sure they'll happily let you have your first month of gametime for free.

AND EVERY SUBSEQUENT MONTH OF GAMETIME WILL COST YOU $14.99 FROM NOW ON.

Oh, what's that? You heard that everyone else gets their gametime now for free? Sorry, tough luck bud. Those weren't the original terms of the sale for YOU. So now you, and you alone, have to pay $15/month for it. Sticking the original terms of the sale is what it's all about, right?

This is what I read from the original announcement:
For $20, eligible PC and Mac players will have the option to add a full, digital version of ESO on either the PS4 or the Xbox One with your character transfer(s), and another 30 days of included game time.

Well... as far as I knew, ESO is dead. Now we have ESOTU, which is now the full title of the game.
