I was happy the day I finally had all 4 purple motifs, but I have no intention of going through that hell again for my alts. It took about 30 hours of continuous "re-log" farming to acquire the first 3 purple motifs. By the 4th one, I was so bored I was about to scratch my own eyes out, so I finally bit the bullet and bought one in a guild store. Never again!

not only the books learned but everything! should be shared account wide. after all we are the same person playing that character wether he / she is lv 1 or even level v14 still we are the same person! everything should be shared, cooking recipies, motif's horse riding knowledges, everything

No, achievements should be per character, and not account wide. Want some title? Play to earn it! Dye unlocks are already account-wide anyhow.
I wholeheartedly disagree. account wide achievements would make it next to impossible to know which character earned which achievements.
as for the motifs crafter character should have to build their skill on their own and besides. the motifs are a great way to make money so keeping people buying and selling them is good for the economy.
No, I disagree.
I want to know what my character earned.
What's next? Accountwide XP?
Please not.

Now after a year many thats still here have seen the light and rather have many of the newcommers suggestions been a distances of the past
I would cry myself if my alt cant get to do all the achievements again, since thats part of the progression of new chars
if you dont wanna do them dont, they dont bring anything to the table other that titles, dyes are account wide

My alts didn't discover a rare motif stuffed in a jar in some dank dungeon, or didn't meet up with a shady dealer at some wayshrine in the middle of no where.

NO!
Enough said.
Okay then, let the things the player for the player earns be account wide, and the things the character earns for the character be per character...one person pays and plays the game HE is the one earning the achievment not the pixels on screen he happens to be using at the time.

funny how all the folk who are so much in the NO camp make such reasoned and coherent arguements for their point of view.... speaks volumes to me..
when the fact is the one toon hero's love to feel like special snowflakes with all the stuff done on one guy to the point it would be so hideous for them to think of playing another toon where they can't spam achievments and wear nice titles..
so if folk who had done the achievment on another toon could wear it on alts it would somehow diminish their special achievement.
its a kind of insecurity and need for self validation projected into the game imo. they can't accept that if one guy sits at his desk playing one char and clears DSA or wherever., he suddenly doesnt forget how to do it cos he switches chars
or if i earn 7 million AP divided among 3 chars i'm less deserving of having AW10 than the guy who does it on one.
