what happen to those like me that where in beta and bought the game and still receive the code for the weekend? What do we get out of it?

Pssst! Hey, what do DC, EP and AD mean?

DC=Daggerfall Covenant
EP=Ebonheart Pact
AD=Aldmeri Dominion

These are the 3 factions upon which Tamriel has been divided. When you create a character in ESO, you choose one of these factions to play.

DC Dolmen dash GAMEBREAKER NATION will be hosting a dolmen event on Sunday the 20th at 12:00 pm cst starting in the glenumbra area. we will be hitting all the dolmens in the DC area up into bankorai and in the down time well waiting for stuff to spawn dance party's at each dolmen

. i will be live streaming this event at everyone of every level is invited. I hope to see you all there we will be bringing Batman the Flash and Superman cause come on where DC if you have any question you can contact me @lumithelock in game or send me a message on the forums.

This would be great - if we currently had the server stability to support it.

I get continously disconnected and booted out every Saturday night since the game went B2P. As soon as there are a large numbers of players on then the game doesn't seem to want me anymore.

It is fine early in the mornings. It is sweet as anything on the PTS where there are no other players

(I went in there after B2P launch to check if the performance was different).

I work so weekends and holidays are really all the game time I get.

I want new and returning players to see the game at its best. If they have similar experiences to me at the moment then they just are not going to be getting that.

Knowing what you (must) know now, you want 1000's more to log on at once for their first impression?

I suspect it's a matter of time before trial accounts are made available with limited progression. Marketing-wise, it just makes sense as the next step.

Why, you get to play the game for free the whole weekend, of course.

(I suspect it will be a few days credit on your sub, whether you have one or don't)

This is exciting! What would be required to fulfill the ESO Orienteering Challenge? Hopefully the servers get a little more stable...I've been getting the boot all morning :-(

Although I enjoyed the BETA immensely, I will not be participating in the welcome-back festivities. I can't justify re-installing Windows 7 or purchasing Windows 8 just to download 80GB of game client and data. I could try emulation under WINE, but with a measly Athlon64 X2 5200+ and Nvidia aGTX660, its not worth the aggravation.

Now, for a proper native Linux client, I'd toss handfuls of cash toward Bethesda/ZOS.

Don't you think this is an unreasonable thing to expect? How many MMOS have a native Linux client? How many customers would this realistically gain them? I would think that most Linux users who are also gamers have a decent windows machine or at the VERY least, dual boot.

My guild has got Dolmens run planned on Sunday 19th at 6pm GMT+1. We don't mind to take some new players for some extra fun. The more the merrier! We'll be happy to recruit some more people too

They give a heads up when the clue list is given out. First clue may require you to be familar with the world itself, and is somewhat specific. Every clue after that takes you in different directions, with either vague landmark descriptions, e.g. small arch after broken arch, or has you count trees or rocks. One clue even required the use of the compass and one of the icons, might want to make sure your compass is default.

You could also try the old challenges to see if you can follow the clues for practice. First two days were in Cyrodiil, the first being solved in under a couple hours, the second taking much longer to figure out.

My Welcome back experience so far.

First I received the email telling me that the code was applied and was invited to join in on April 16th. I log into my account with the link provided in that email. I then need to provide a access code which worked without issue. I am now staring at the account page where I do not find any link to download the game as stated in the invitation email. I use the support link and it provides two links for downloading the client (PC and Mac versions). I also see a link to yet again
my account page and after clicking it I still do not see a download option. I used the PC version link listed above on that support page.

During a patching area of the installation at about 8 % in to the install I get an error with the zip opening due to some corruption. I do a repair and try again. I then decided to post something under the support email link and while clicking submit question the page does not do any thing to confirm if the post was sent or not. I then decide maybe I will look and see if the forum has a area for returning players. I log in and see that I have 2 notifications and 2 messages in my inbox but when checking them they are empty. Needless to say so far my returning is a bit scary when thinking of my future experience. I truly hope that's not the case.

Well thanks for the invite back. I was looking forward to seeing if you finally fixed this game. Back in Beta I saw enough to decide it was no where near ready. However I was looking forward to seeing it again. But this has been the third time since getting the invite that I've had to start redownloading. Today it was your patch. Which is forcing me to redownload after I had just finally done about 30GB.

I cannot and will not leave this PC on for days to get this downloaded. No way I can get in during the time frame unless I let this sit for probably a week. If its 80GB then that is 80hrs of downloading for me. So sorry. I'd like to see it but there is no way I'm going to at this rate. I don't have ultra high speed to download GBs instantly. Sorry but the only high speed options in this area are Verizon or Cable and both can jump in a lake for all I care. Terrible companies.

Thanks for the 500 crowns, maybe I'll use them someday. Till then, wish you the best and that you won't turn into Bioware which is letting their MMO go down their cartel market toilet.

The initial client download is large, since it includes all improvements through Update 6. After the Install generally there are only periodic Patch updates which are much smaller.

FYI, if you still have the Beta client installed, just update it, which is a faster approach than a fresh install. Contact ESO Support if you misplaced your ESO ID or other help with the Install.

So, where exactly is the download?

The initial e-mail went out, told us to download the game from our account section. It wasn't there.

A fixed e-mail went out saying the same thing, still not there.

Another e-mail today about the events and to check a blog post to see instructions for downloading.. yet nothing's mentioned there.

There's still no download link on my account page.

Where is the download link?

There are links for direct download of PC and Mac clients on ESO Support.
