Thornblade turning into a red version of Auriel's Bow is.... disgusting... to me.
That was inevitable once a few guilds started to slink away from thorn because it was day in day out unplayable lag, many of us found that disgusting. Chillrend was a safe haven for a little over a month, had some of the most fun PvP I've had since the beginning of the game during that month. Sad its gone on Chillrend now too
It seems like those few guilds that started to "slink" away from thorn have brought the lag and the same tactics they complained about with them to chillrend.

Whatever you say pumpkin, Chillrend was lag free for over a month after making the switch. But whatever you say.

I have been on Chillrend for 3 months sweety pie and I have noticed the lag getting worse and worse over the last month.
TKO and Rangers made a stand last night. Good god did we try. We got back all the home keeps and two outposts through colossal effort and strategy. Not a single one was an undefended uncontested take, but we outwitted the reds twice using Chalman of all keeps as a diversion. Even Havoc was getting wrecked everywhere we encountered them. (good fights btw, especially the one at Chalman)
Then the red zerg woke up. Oh my god the red tide wasnt even a joke. Fights went from 20-30 on 20-30 to constant 20 on 60 everywhere we went. Once we lost Alessia it became obvious it was just every single red on the campaign going to one place all at the same time, as per usual. The fight for Faregyl was easily 80+ reds on 20 yellows with much of Havoc just running the walls.
For all we could do, we just got hammered down and people started logging out of sheer frustration, no matter where we went an entire blob just appeared.
I wonder how much longer these EP scrubs are going to use year old justifications (being camped by DiE on Auriels back last may) for current trends. You are literally destroying PvP. You ask why people leave the campaign. You figure it out.

The ONLY reason you can say this is because DC and Ad wised up and left and spread out to other campaigns. We took the initiative. Not you in ep. You all would happily stay holed up on your own buff map farming at the gates. So please. Just please.

Thorn is dead.
And it wasn't killed by your pugs, it was killed by your guilds.
A couple of whom are still doing their very best to make sure no spark of competition remains there.
I hear stories of hours spent camping scroll temples and gates on an all red map.
Pvp at its finest, no doubt.

WarrioroftheWind_ESO wrote: »I'm seeing the same case happening on Azura's. When I asked for a few more seasoned EP guilds to help out, given the majority of EP on AS is sub-vet spillover from BWB. I didn't mean "come one come all arrogant *** guilds who let all of EP's keeps get taken while they hole up in Brindle and farm AP'. You get ap, xp, and gold bonus gains from holding your home keeps as well as enemy keeps and the inner ring. So to me it seems counter-productive to allow the enemy to just breeze on through your stuff because you want to set up a nice tower farm clear on the opposite side of the map. Yesterday EP were within seconds of crowning emp, and we lost ALL of our ring keeps in under an hour because almost 2/3 of the existing EP population refused to defend ANYTHING. We even lost Arrius and came close to losing Kings and our one scroll, and the only reason we persisted was because those do-nothings deigned to get off their asses and help defend the keep. You're not going to tell me that there's any valid reason why pop-locked EP should lose so much in such a short period of time to pop-locked DC, unless everyone and their mom are off doing delves or skyshard runs.
Another thing that really grates me is the utter lack of communication in zone chat. Yes I know people are worried about spies and the like, but information is not exclusive. There's no reason why players can't call out "oh hey I was picking herbs and I ran into a 20+ EP raid heading to our scroll keep" or "Hey I just arrived in BRK and there's 20 DC siege doing a 50/50". We lost Ash, Ales, Bleakers, Chalman. BRK, Sej, and Alessia almost back to back because absolutely no one saw fit to relay information, or even respond when it was called.
Jessica Folsom wrote:It's a very grey area.
The hate gets so strong you can't even acknowledge good players anymore. This is why we can't have nice things.
But hey, it's EPs responsibility to say good fight, or something

So the PvE'ers of your factions (AD and DC) can thank you and the other Non-EP Thornblade guilds for having EP Thornblade guilds branch out and ruin their buff servers or actually having *gasp* PVP on said servers instead of another PvE/RP area? Way to build that faction camaraderie! I like your style of initiative!
What really interests me is whether there are still people who care about the scoreboards.
