    Hi @illogicbh,

Players will not be able to use shouts, as dragonborn are extremely rare throughout Elder Scrolls history.

This is a much simpler question which anyone at Zenimax (and most players) would be able to answer, the Templar bugs thread would quite likely require checking with several different people and may take some time to get an actual answer.

Also to the OP you cannot become Dragon Born in any TES game (including Skyrim)you either are or you aren't but you're born that way and can't change it. In Skyrim as part of the main story your character discovers they are Dragon Born. As far as we know in the other TES games you're not, and in ESO definitely not because as GaryA said it wouldn't make any sense for thousands of Dragon Born to exist at the same time.

To top it off, the major conflicts in the game are the result of someone actively trying to become dragonborn. Look how well that went.

Although there are no shouts, I can make 3x the fire of the fire breath shout as many times as I want, summon meteors, and conjure a suit of armor that will take a direct hit from a 20 foot tall spirit sword summoned by a celestial being and leave a tiny little scratch, and melt anyone that gets within a couple feet of me. We had it good in the 2nd era.

I really, really, REALLY doubt we'll see Thu'um or anything pertaining to Dragons/Dragonborn in ESO. It was the driving plot of Skyrim, there's no reason to have it in ESO.

And even though Ulric and the Graybeards could use the Thu'um, how much sense would it make for 1000s of people across Tamriel spontaneously learning it? Ulfric and the Graybeards had to dedicate years of training to learn it, there's nothing our characters could do that would justify learning it out of the blue. Non-Dragonborn who can use the Thu'um are as rare as the Dragonborn themselves.

I mean you could say "Well they could make an Elder Scroll that teaches it!" but then that has its own problems. Mainly being that Elder Scrolls having a tendency of blinding readers, or driving them insane, or any other unwanted effect. They're not something we're going to happen upon with little to no backstory.

Even if they added DLC later that would provide such a questline, the simple fact is there is no place in ESO for mechanics from Skyrim. Putting it in ESO just because it was in Skyrim is silly.

You are wrong. There is only one vestige so all players are same character. To add dragonborns would be no stranger then have vampires or werewolves really.

My standing theory about the entire inerregnum is that it is a dragonbreak. The regaining of controll of time being marked by the rise of Talos as a dragonborn. And as the event in itself essentially defines the end of the interregnum, there is little chance of a dragonborn coming into being during the period.

A dragonbreak does seem likely, given the what if thing you do after cold harbor with cadwell. So yeah no dragonborn till Talos
