They just moved yesterday.
Yesterday was the first day that I have been mostly lag free in Thorn all week.
Have fun Chillrend.

Decibel and Alacrity are AD top talent yes... MBF is DC's best
mad respect for MBF but they're not just in Chill.
i know that MBF homes Thorn (where i just came from) but if there is a chance that 3 of the best enemy guilds in ESO NA are in one campaign -- at one time.......that's where the good EP guilds are gonna want to be. my only point.

Personally, I think the lag is caused by the many dead AD and DC bodies that litter the map. There's never any lag when you guys aren't dieing.

You didn't know this because you were on Thorn, but Chill regularly locked during primetime before yesterday's lag fest. There was no one side domination (expect for perhaps the blue zerg night capping occasionally), otherwise the map was constantly flipping, changing, with good fights, and minimal lag.
And its cute pumpkin that you think you're competitionand if by competition you mean bring far more people to overwhelm the opposition then i guess you're right

Well Thorn had terrible lag last night. At least from 7pm-10pm PST. But of course the lag only occurred when fighting the movie star and his cronies. Never against AD.

As I said, Chillrend has experimented high latency almost every evening for the past couple weeks. Sometimes up to 3-4k latency and that lag occured when specific guild groups of AD or DC were engaging in large numbers. There was no "minimal lag" during those periods of time as u said. It was as bad as Thornblade.
The latency comes when 3 factions are max pop or close to max pop, then an organized group engage another one and they both spam aoe abilities. Chillrend was max pop several times the past two weeks and this is due to the new gain of players and old players coming back into Cyrodiil with the B2P change of the game.
Yesterday no one was overwhelming the opposition, all 3 factions were max pop.

You are 100% wrong. I would have one lag fight every 3-4 days, and it lasted no more than 2 minutes.
My issue with said guild is they cant not seem to operate on their own. They will take 60 organized players with them everywhere they go, this is what causes the lag. Before any of you try to dispute this, remember I know a lot of players that play with you.
I've enjoyed the outnumbered fight on chillrend, NONE of them lagged.
Anyways I knew what this guild was going to bring, perhaps I will look into going back to Thorn to fight the actually skilled red guild that I have immense respect for.

You can't tell me that you don't have ANY respect for ANYONE in said guild man. I know that is not true.
Also, I have never seen a 60 man organized raid EVER.... Let alone in said guild. I have in fact heard people complain when the group hits 24 players in size. Its just not at all true what people in this thread are saying (that said guild is solely responsible for PVP lag in any specific campaign).
It is very understandable if you want to pull your guild off of Chill..... but to shame a guild for something that is outright not true is another thing entirely. There are members in that guild that deserve AND have earned respect from all factions. Just like you and your guild have earned that respect.
So Thornblade has its most lag free night in a long, long while, and Chill has the worst lag its had in a long, long while. All on the same day said guild moves from TB to CR. Interesting, to say the least.

@(any)Dev can we confirm pop caps on each server last evening and see if there's a correlation?

This has already been discussed, Chillrend was pop capped last night like it usually is. Pop caps don't make lag, the last month chillrend gets pop capped during primetime. Its the playstyle of some groups or inevitability of massive stacking that leads to the lag. This is an exercise in futility (your question that is), but I suspect you know that already and are deflecting.

I know what they do (because I can see death recaps and animations as they pour over me) and I will generally have to say that it isn't their fault even if they are doing it specifically to lag the server. Low of them if they are; but the end of the day, those are effective abilities otherwise and the game needs to be able to handle it.

I know, I find it unlikely that its something they do on purpose, it is their playstyle they follow to succeed, whatever works and nothing more. I am lamenting the fact that in an attempt to get away from it because it ruins my experience as a player (a workaround lets say to dealing with that style coupled with a poor product that can't handle it) is basically gone. We as players already know this problem exists, we can push all we want on ZOS about it, but its still not fixed and the only way to deal with it is trying to avoid/work around it. I thought I was free from it this past month, I've been having a ton of fun (barring my thoughts on the siege changes which were both good and bad for the game imo), but now its back to this in the blink of an eye.

Don't even try to reason with him. I was with IR for the whole evening yesterday and we were running with 15players. Most of the time we were going by ourselves without any support. Proof is, Alacrity wiped us 3times inside Bleakers guild vs guild. I'm not ashamed to mention it unlike some people with a huge pride out there. No zerg was involved, no lag was involved, just some real fights. Rest of the time when we got the emp keeps we were taking our own initiative to assault a keep without even requesting any help in the zone chat or from other guilds.
Once again, don't even try to reason with that guy, no matter what, as long as EP achieves something, he's going to blame the lag or he's going to blame that group for causing the lag.
