I crash several times a day, screen freezes, endless loading screens, booted to desktop with an error message of <1>, unable to interact with crafting tables or people as the "e" just goes grey and nothing happens.
The quality of the server and overall game play is now much worse... but hey at least we have some new pretty stuff to look at that you can buy at the store.
Very frustrated.
Re-zoning works for that. It's not really what I would call a bug though.I crash several times a day, screen freezes, endless loading screens, booted to desktop with an error message of <1>, unable to interact with crafting tables or people as the "e" just goes grey and nothing happens.

Yep and I have still have the in game mail bug where I have to log out and in again to get any mail or items from guild stores....since BETA.....
Completely pathetic.
In the six months since the huge drop in player numbers was apparent we forgot just how flaky the mega-server tech. was, now numbers are clearly back to where they were for the first 6 months we have been painfully reminded of it.NewBlacksmurf wrote: »The mega server idea just doesn't seem so great anymore

Worse, we now have client lockups at times for 10s of seconds, everything freezes except sound/music, regular 999+ lags (I don't actually recall seeing those with such frequency before March.
Dear @ZOS_JessicaFolsom , @ZOS_PaulSage and @ZOS_GinaBruno , these weekend performance issues are game breaking for ALL players.

@Allonan
Well "e" problem have been since the beta and you can fix really easy by dismount if you are mount or just movie around little and should work. And everything else you tlak about have been around since beta so basically it is no new problem at all so i dont see what problem is i know that people have say to ZoS many time over about this problem.
Beside if you have play SWTOR which have business model as we have now you should know that Bioware still have problem with bugs and other problem that have been around since day 1 and still have not be total fix hopefull ZoS will fix this problem we have so we dont become like SWTOR when come to bug and other issus the have.
I visited Stonefalls with a low-level alt yesterday... I'm gonna have PTSD for weeks after reading the public chat there for 10 minutes.... I think I need a hug now... *sobs*

a bad idea indeed.. it would be very costly for them to maintain it over the years, but at least the players would never have to deal with merges and possibilities of losing their IGN like in most subscription to -> F2P/B2P games
The biggest problem with the mega server is that you're stuck with one rule-set. Having multiple servers would allow separate PvP and PvE servers which would resolve a lot of the back-biting between the two halves of the community over stuff like open world PvP. It would also allow for a much better trading system.
