@ZOS_BrianWheeler Don't you think it would be a good idea to change friendly siege fire indicators to green instead of red, exactly like enemy siege fire? Currently it is impossible to tell if the incoming siege fire is from an enemy siege or a friendly siege because both incoming indicators (red) for both friendly and enemy siege are identical red circles. Perhaps using a 'Green Circle' for friendly fire would be useful. Not sure why you haven't thought of this already...

    Agree with this 110%. I'm getting sick of panicking when I see multiple incoming siege shots and dodge rolling all over kingdom come, only to find out it's friendly fire.

    Or, my favorite, thinking it's friendly fire and it's an enemy firepot nuke....

    I've always thought this was a good idea as well. There is no reason for it to NOT be this way from the beginning.

    Just make it so we can differentiate between friendly and enemy siege fire... How is this not already a thing?

    Please do it. There's also red circles from other things like AoE and NPC's. Can be really hard to differentiate what is what quick enough and were the enemy siege is going to drop down. I don't have stamina to dodge "all red" to be safe. Sometimes it's not even possible, because 99% of the ground is red.

    Lacklustre interface has been a problem since beta. Players been dealing with it(or the lack of combat info) using addons and calling out actions to allies. But now mistake are much more deadly. Our own tools just aren't enough when siege takes 80-90% of your average guys health. They need to make enemy siege and oil circles stand out more visually.

    Sure, you can have pink with purple polka dots for all I care, as long as it doesn't come to the expense of latency.

    That last thing cyro needs right now is even more lag.
    Been here since Feb 2014 - You'd think I'd be half reasonable at this game by now...

    Oils do not have circles anymore. There is NO indicator what-so-ever when using the "flaming oil" pots.

    We would still have NO idea who's DK standards belonged to who without the recent change made to the banners. Now they are signified by alliance banners so you know what alliance the standard came from.

    how about not see friendly siege circles at all cuz I agree green is for healing.. we have no use I can think of for seeing friendly circles at all do we? remove em completely

    I hear the logic, but when a red circle literally means instant death, and others mean you might take a little damage, or some cc, or maybe nothing cause it's friendly. They mean nothing and everythinng all at once....

    I don't see what other colour (apart from green and red) you can use so would another way be to remove FF sieges circles completely? Therefore when you see a red circle you know to get out immediately.

    If doing some other color like blue or yellow would not be an option; I would much rather get confused on whether that is a friendly heal than if that is friendly or enemy siege. How is it that leaving it red seemed to be the best option?

    With the recent 1.6 stamina changes and heavy duty siege changes the NEED to dodge roll and conserve stam for when needed has never been higher.. The way the circles are right now we have to dodge roll everything constantly.. We look like a bunch of billiard balls after a break when trying to siege a keep lol

    Make blue with pink polka dots for all we care. Just make it any color other than the one color we have to avoid at all costs or die in one shot.


    ... of course now we have "war" which means there are two styles of game play siege and ganking .. yay for "war".

    Well, we could easily fix it by making seige do friendly damage too. I mean... a big flaming ball coming at me, I don't think I'd want stand there if it was shot from my side or the enemy side. I say, turn on friendly fire for Seige Equipment.

    Why not make them realm specific, same with all AOE types (except PvE ones).

    Red Circles = EP casted
    Blue Circles = DC Casted
    Yellow Circles = AD Casted

    Healing Circles can stay green since they are neutral colour.

    Just take the colour away for friendly siege. Leave it red for enemy siege.
