I see a lot of posts and hear a lot of chat in guild on the subject of ZOS integrity/credibility. So in the interests of gaining the widest sample I have created this post. I would like to say this is not to bash ZOS but to give them as accurate a guage of the players feelings (good or bad) and some constructive criticism or positive feedback. On that note please expand on your poll selection and explain as specifically as possible why you hold that view.

The latest in a long line of decisions that makes them look even more dodgy is how they handle the crown store. Crowns are account wide across both NA and EU servers but the purchases are not. This means that if you by something on the EU Server that amount of crowns is also subtracted from the account on the NA server but you don't have the item on the NA server. People who play both will have to pay twice for the Imperial upgrade and the renamed Explorer pack.1 -

✭I'm not voting on this because all of their decisions are based on making money, the same as every other MMO out there.
If they want to change how people view their company they can start by delivering us the game that they are selling. A game where we can all come to enjoy without having to turn down our graphic settings. A PVE game without Lag. A PVP game without lag. The massive PVP battles you see in EVERY video advertisement, not small PVP skirmishes but HUGE battles.
They can start by delivering us the game that we bought based on that premise. The trailers that they've got posted all over the main site. IF and WHEN they deliver that to us, anything that's happened over the last year won't matter at all. We'll be too absorbed in the world that IS ESO....NA Server - Kildair1 -

Raash✭✭✭✭I dont think they had credability from the start really (they are not politicians - they are trying to sell their product and a consumer always have the short end of the stick), everyone but the most obnoxious souls could see where the game was going and that it would land in f2p, and yeah i know you gonna bark now since you say its b2p. It is for new players yes, but for me and most of you its now f2p.
They had a original plan for the game but it sunk and it sunk fast. So who can blame them for trying other routes?

If they would start fixing the bugs and figure out the problems with lag on the megaserver things could start getting better. Sad part is they need to get consoles up and running and hopefully with less bugs. Once both are up I hope they make it a priority to fix as many major bugs they can. But give them a break on a few small bugs because all online games have them, yes even WoW after all this time.
I'm still upset about what we had to go through from beta to the announcement of going B2P. But damn they made a beautiful world that has so darn much potential. I sunk enough money in the game and I hate to see it all go to waste. Fix the big issues and I will be a loyal player till I go to sleep forever. just fix the darn game because being 60 not sure how long I got left.

The game has progressively gotten better, and is the best it's ever been right now. I've been in this since early beta, so I've got some perspective... Customer service has also always been prompt for me in-game (granted I haven't had any horrific problems thankfully).

I agree with this.
This is why I much prefer to consider all purchases, including games and in-game items as a straight-forward transaction. None of this "supporting the company", "showing my appreciation/thanks for something not directly related to that item", "investing in future content" etc.
That way I don't have to worry about whether I will eventually get what I imagine I was promised, or whether a year, two years, 5 years etc. down the line this will be a game and a company I want to 'show my support to'. They are attempting to be more transparent than most companies with their first game, and are learning mostly the hard way why most companies are not transparent.
An example of this is the Champion System announcement at Quakecon in July 2014. ZOS barely had a UI for it back then, and they announced the complete conversion of XP earned past level 50 to Champion Points upon conversion -- that was in the early stages of development. After internal debate and testing, the power gap was discovered and the conversion rate changed. I am sure most of you remember the community backlash. Since then (I have noticed) ZOS is trying to be transparent, but confirming the TBA information is not subject to major change before sharing it (i.e. the Patch Notes).

If ZOS goes in a direction I don't agree with and I stop having fun, I'll just stop playing and try something else. They didn't lose credibility with me when they went B2P. I don't agree with every decision they've made, or the way they've gone about announcing their decisions, but I don't feel hard done by.
I feel like after going through the SWG decline, no MMO can possibly disappoint me again. :P0 -

Something i'd very much recommend. And by hiring i mean get competent people on the job.
people who
a) understand what this game is about, aka TES veterans and not veterans from failed MMO's
b) people who know how to present the game realistically and properly (the podcasts are a joke and the advertisement doesn't reflect the game)
c) capable technical staff that actually fixes things without creating 5 new problems in its wake.
If at least i hear that they make an effort to redeem themselves and make huge alterations in a reasonable amount of time it can all be forgiven.
If it goes down the same way though, then yea they would lose all credibility and i'd urge Bethesda to find someone else to work with.0 -

I like the game. As a big TES fan since Morrowind I play this because its TES. I played during the final beta and at launch. I paid for 1 month sub, then I stopped playing/paying. I am only back now because it no longer requires a sub to play.
I don't play any other MMOs anymore and haven't for a while. When this game no longer appeals to me - for whatever reason - or something more interesting comes along, I will stop playing it.0 -

So far they've lived off the fruits of Bethesdas work imo, i didn't even know them if it hadn't been for the TES titles.
