Sorry, no, this was not simple 'lag'.The freezing could be because of the high amount of CPU usage ESO has. Try opening your taskmanager while the game is running, it will show how severe it is. I have had rare freezes and at those moments the CPU gets very close to a 100% usage. The game undoubtedly needs more optimisation so that people that aren't running really high end CPUs won't have these problems.
Just for clarity I run an Intel i5-4440.
'Lag' doesn't last for 15 seconds and when the freeze ends you carry on playing exactly at the point you were at when it paused: a 15 second 'lag' ends and you're dead. On all three occasions I had problems I was fighting mobs which if my character had gone on to auto-pilot would have lead to him dying.
Never, ever seen that before the weekend in the 14 months I've been playing this game, nor have I had it at the same time many others did, judging by the posts in this thread and others.
This is on an i7-2700 @ 3.5Ghz, 8Gb RAM and an Nvidia GTX-580 (not a bleeding-edge gfx card but still able to run ESO at Ultra everything more or less) and also on an i7-4770, 8Gb and an Nvidia GTX-780.
Full computer crashes at load screens
Horse playing "Red light Green Light"
No alliance or group indicators
Having invisible group members also with no group V indicators (fun times)
999 pings 40% of the time
200-400pings 40% of the time
After closing the character UI game goes to cursor mode causing me to have to hit ".".
Non stop frame lag in pvp/pve
Block not working for shards, wrecking blow, dragon leap, Ambush, and the list goes on.
Bar desyncs
All my voice coms are full of rage from myself and others as someone experiences broken every minute of game play. People are not happy, long time players are at a breaking point of frustration.
