Have you verified your game cache/checked that all the required files on your client are intact? I didn't experience this bug - maybe the mesh file for the NPC, or a script or something client-side is broken, causing your client to be unable to display the NPC at the correct time?

(Or hey, maybe there's an item in your inventory you're supposed to drink? Or a drink on a table somewhere? Or heck, can you just TRAVEL to the objective? Sorry, my memory wears thin)

It is part of the Dominion Main Quest. And, if this is on Cadwell's silver, then it's absolutely necessary to advance to Gold. You can't just, "skip it, everything'll be fine, honest."

Yes, it is a AD quest. Yes it has the AD story progression in it. Yes, if you are not AD you will need it for Cadwells.

No, its not the Main Quest, those are, in Auridon: The Harborage, Daughter of Giants, Chasing Shadows etc. These latter cannot be discarded and unless completed will not allow game progression to the vet areas.

However, however, I am not suggesting any quest be abandoned, nor ignored.Nor am I without compassion or regard to the posters plight. It is unfortunate, much like when Melanie never showed for months after launch, this quest line has been bugged in one way or another since beta. Work with it, work around it, get help from customer service, its what we all do, and have done since launch. IF one wanted, they could choose not to do it (if AD) and continue on, as in the case of a person fast leveling an alt.

I can't tell from your posts whether you filed a support ticket or not. If you haven't, you should and post the ticket number here.

I'm trying to help you. This is a quest that has been buggy for others in the past. When I was testing it in beta that happened to me. If you have bug report ticket numbers that you can record here it will give ZOS more information as to what is happening in game.

I found out just a couple of days ago that there is no auto generated email when a support ticket is filed. I suggested that they implement one, but who knows if that will happen.

Lifting the Veil: The step of this quest that involves drinking Palomir’s concoction to visit the island will now more reliably work as intended.

The Veil Falls: Fixed an issue where Heritance Cutthroat would occasionally flip into walls or other fixtures and get stuck, blocking your progress.

Me too ... they prob had to use another fix.

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_GaryA According to @AlienDiplomat, his issue still isn't fixed even after the patch. Sounds like there is something else going on with his issues that need looking into.

Since he says this has been happening since the first glitch with getting stuck in WW form is it possible that they are related or connected somehow? I know that WW has been really buggy for some people.

He did @Rottley. He also posted one of his bug reports here along with a video showing what happens to him in game.

If it's happening to him it's probably happening to others as well who are likely just giving up and moving on.

I really hope it does fix it. Not being able to progress is just so not fun.
