I am amused by the fact that it will take the better part of a paid subscription day to do maintenance with the primary purpose of making the game accessible tomorrow to people who aren't paying a subscription.

A professional company knows to pre-load the files required earlier, across several patches such the release date is just a simple flag for the appropriate servers/software to run.
As such I am sure we will get exactly what we would expect from ZEN.

it has now been 7 hours and 45 minutes...im not complaining im playing AC4 pirating in the seas, just hopped on to see the progress or lack of and check out this post and saw your misconception of time.
