If you look at the patch notes for PTS and compare them, you'll see that this is not the case.

Uh huh. Don't get "Error 11" until you try to play, which requires server to be up, so patching alone means nothing.

That way, there'd be the illusion of pushing and shoving, everyone screaming "GET OUTTA MY WAY" as folks got back into the game and about their business.

So, why are you all expecting to get in soon. Seems like we already have an ETA of 10:00pm Tonight (est).
What am I missing here?
Doesn't seem very ambiguous. Crown store and everything will be live when it comes on, and it won't come back online until 10pm tonight.0 -

EST = Eastern Standard Time
EDT = Eastern Daylight Time
The latter is used for the daylight savings period.1 -

What you are missing is the 10PM EDT maintenance is for the EU server.

10 AM EDT= 10 AM Eastern Daylight Time.
That means 10 AM for everyone in the Eastern Time Zone (in the United States, just want to be clear).
