Oh, well. It'll still be a good popcorn day watching the PC servers buckle and explode. But man, I was waiting for the epic console blowout. ;p

Console players will not be playing on the same server as PC players.

I know this. But since ZOS future is riding on those console players, the forums here and on the Xbone and PS4 forums are going to be very entertaining during the inevitable botching.

Whether they "botch" console launch or not, your statement was that you were going to be "watching PC servers buckle and explode," which is irrelevant. As for the forums being entertaining, I'd say you are ahead of the train with your popcorn.
Hope they repair the repair system too. Next time I get the repair tool trying to download 30gb because some file got borked after a random game crash, I'm out for good.

That's because you're forgetting PC goes B2P on the 17th, when lots of people are gonna come back for free, and maybe even some new people. And the PC servers are going to buckle and explode, which I'd say is very relevant. In case you haven't noticed, they have trouble holding the strain of those here playing right now.
So the 17th is going to be a glorious clusterduck regardless, it's just the console launch would have made it a bombgasm of epic proportions.
