The friendly trash talk and nerd rage after a 30 second teabag keeps me playing this game.

Anyone else read this as he didn't want you to be able to jump campaigns but got shut down somehow? Carefully chosen words are carefully chosen.
This is a social game damnit, not a pvp game is the direction. MOAR candy crush, LESS DOAC!~

I wish we couldn't just jump to bandwagon-winner onto other campaigns whenever things don't go our way in PVP. It was supposed to work like that, and should. LESS candy crush, please. MORE daoc/warhammer and actual competitive spirit in the playerbase.

Huzzah! Hopefully you don't think I was calling for candypvp. Was intentionally over the top sarcastic.

I find it odd that our good pug leaders are calling out their attacks in zone trying to get the faction on the same page only to get wiped because the enemy was there waiting for them...that why I'm for th removal of comms.

On one level, I'd love to see players within Cyrodiil being blocked from communication with other people from enemy factions (regardless of their location). However, and this could just be how you worded it, while on a personal level I'd be happy to see it blocked period, I don't think doing so when both players aren't inside Cyro would go over well with a large segment of the playerbase unfortunately. And there are good things about being able to talk cross-faction with skilled enemies, too, such as @Roechacca describes:Sky Chancellor wrote: »Disagree.
I, and many others, enjoy the cross faction chat without using it to trash talk or whinge to the enemy. Its awesome to be able to whisper an enemy player after a particularly good fight and show respect, or discuss builds and counters. It helps you learn and grow in skill.
Having said that, there will always be sore losers, and that is why we have an ignore function.
In fact, this function sets ESO PvP apart from every other mmo, where the enemy is just another faceless player.
If it was a toggle ability would it still bother You ?
If I could just toggle personal messages off, that would be a good thing. Is there a way to turn personal messages off? I didn't really think about this, sometimes MMO's have that option.
I have had the same experience with saying even something as simple as "good fight!" to someone I just died to or beat. Sometimes it's just a nice gesture which is great. Sometimes we chat a little and both get something to learn out of it. So while on the pure "RED IS DEAD!!!! WE ARE AT WAR!!!!" front which I very much do subscribe to on an overall basis, it does have tangible benefits to be able to chat across faction lines, so on another level I'd hate to see the communication blocked once more.
P.S. Sky Chancellor, go into your chat filters by clicking the cogwheel at the top right of your chat box, and uncheck "Sends". You will no longer see whispers in that chat tab until it is re-enabled.
HONESTLY?!
Why remove cross alliance communication? many of us have alts on all fractions, friends on all factions and like to practise with people of other factions.
Seriously, Communcating between alliances is such a HUGE part of the game - Many people like myself play largely just to talk to people, and many of them (two thirds, no surprise there with 3 factions) are enemy alliances. If you want to keep people in game, let them talk freely with each other!

I love people who rage hard. It amuses this one to no end.
One of my guildies was threatened with death irl. We took great satisfaction in knowing that our little group caused this fella to have a transient ischemic attack.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJi41RWaTCsJust don't. Many of my friends are on the other factions and I enjoy talking to them after fights and so on. If you start doing stuff like that I might as well just quit the game, that means you are just following GW2s route and I do not want to be a part of that.ZOS_BrianWheeler wrote: »Cross Alliance communication was disabled at one time, however the guild and account based friend communication systems get around this restriction much like the "jump to group leader" tech where the direction of favoring communication and playing with friends was a higher social priority, thus the blocking of communication between alliances was lifted.
