Step 1. Under setting disable all health bars
Step 2. Alt F4
Step 3. Wait 2 minutes, take a quick bio
Step 4. Log back in, you should see your alliance tags back
Step 5. Re-enable the health bars
PS step 2 & 3 are very important, do not just log out.
Good hunting !

That sounds like a 5 minute minimum fix, assuming no load screen bosses and that you didn't get kicked out of Cyrodiil and then get to wait in queue again (especially a concern for EP).
I appreciate the work-around, but honestly they just need to fix this. It's not viable for a large pvp group to constantly have members logging off for 5+ minutes to fix their tags.
ZOS, I disabled my add ons, restarted my router, repaired my game, disabled my firewall, and vacuumed my living room - the problem is not client side, please please please, FIX MAH ****!
The only thing I dislike about this patch is the fact that they made it "Almost" impossible to melee fight zerg against zerg anymore. It is going to be possible again once we get enough champion points to spec accordingly. But right now, the only choice dragonknights have is a force pulse / crushing shock weaving battle.
Heavy Armor was supposed to bring more survivability and make it possible to tank. This is not happening yet. Every class still depends on shield stacking which is magicka related.
They should have brought new abilities from medium and heavy armor trees to increase block / dodge / evasion rating (stamina based), to compensate the lack of magicka for shield stacking.
The other fixes are great and no matter the remaining bugs, I am satisfied of the hard work of Zenimax.
Keep going!
Man, you should hire a build doctor or something. Builds are extremelyyy diverse now, and most Dk's I run with are significantly more tanky and pull more DPS.
I give ZoS an A+ on their build changes.

I don't need a build doctor, thank you.
PvP being basically unplayable most of the time has at least given me time to upgrade my Legerdemain line.
7 Medium + Improved Hiding 4/4 + Champion Passive should zero out my sneak costs entirely.
Tested with Improved Hiding + 7 Medium + 3 Nightshade zeros it out to the point that my Stamina regens while moving.
So at least there's that.

I am doing this for my char as well. I though that your stamina regen doesn't work while stealth moving though? Are you talking about when you just stop for a second and gain your stamina back?

With 7 medium + 4/4 Improved Hiding Legerdemain + 3 piece Nightshade set (decrease detection radius by 2 meters. Reduce Sneak Cost by 23%) I can be in Sneak, cast Retreating Maneuvers and move around with my Stamina regenerating (very slowly, but still going up rather than staying still or decreasing) the entire time.
If they fix the /bug report am not sure how it will work out, but even with 7 Medium + 4/4 Improved Hiding is a huge bonus (89% reduce Sneak cost).
It has the added bonus of providing a nice boost to my Heavy and Light armoured builds as well.

Not only are the shields vastly more powerful then before.....They still can't be Crit, which means they're basically running around with the old benefit of Impenetrable while everyone else now has to deal with the fact that Impen now is bloody useless and everyone is perma critting everyone for stupid amounts....Throw in the fact that they reduced everyones HP and is there any reason shields didn't get more powerful?

I know the feeling.
First they came for our deer and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Deer
Then they came for our torchbugs and I did not speak out—
For I was not a torchbug...
By the time they turned the Imperial City into a DLC PvE only zone,
No one spoke out because all the PvP'ers had already left the game.
Graphics settings does nothing for ping.thelordoffelines wrote: »Random thought-
ZoS decided after 1.6 in their infinite wisdom that I wanted my graphics settings on high when they are normally on medium. This was causing me to lag more than usual after 1.6. Now I dont doubt for one second lag could've gotten worse but checking if ur graphics settings changed is worth a look.

From my experience.. Everyone is a glass cannon at the moment. Even if you don't want to be. lol

If ZoS wants any of the people that come for PvP on march 17th they better do something and fast, I pvped for the first 3 days of 1.6 and haven't gone back because I could not play going near any keep under siege because It was just a massive lag fest.

I don't think its AOE caps being gone, I can show you a video of a big ep zerg getting absolutely ripped to hell and back on Chillrend and not any lag happening. in fact from what i've played on chillrend, despite having equally large battles compared to Thornblade there is zero lag on there in comparison....So either its Thornblade itself..or someone doing something on thornblade thats causing the lag.
