Turn FTC off, reloadui, turn it back on. So it might be addon related problem
this sounds really interesting. most of us haved tried turnign add-ons off and had no success. but what if an add-on somehow messes up the "normal" user settings. I'll definitly try to turn add-ons off, get my bars again by restarting the game and prying and see if they get lost again if there are no active add-ons

Heya Gina,
I just put in a /bug report about this last night on Live.
I included full repro steps.
The Quick and dirty: Health bar settings reset on a "zone load", causing Health bars to default to the "Off" position.
Should be a quick fix from the UI team.
Hope this helps,

This isn't the only issue, however. They will stay off even once re-enabled a lot of the time... I saw that they were getting their global "On/off" setting changed on zoning/etc., though just to note the sub-settings such as "enemy", "self", and all of those do stay as set otherwise.

Correct, and all of that is detailed in my in-game /bug report.
This is just the "quick and dirty", as I mentioned.
Yeah... so *** ***. Restarted game 3 times today and when it finally worked the game kicked me out to the login screen because why the *** not. Then I got stuck in the loading screen when I tried to log in again. Awesome.
Wrote to the support and they asked me to reinstall my drivers, great.

Yeah well... would be great if you commented on fixing the real issue, that the things in fact do not show up at all. I mean I can't disable and re-enable bars or indicators. Once they are gone they are 100% gone and I have been unable to play for the last days since the patch due to these issues.ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »

Restarted the game over 10 times, in the end the bars and alliance indicators showed up but disappeared once again after I ported to cyrodiil.

If you delete the UserSetings.txt file from the game folder and then start the game, then the bug goes away. I suggest that you keep a backup of course , but this fix enabled me to get rid of the bug.

Solved:
Delete your old UserSettings.txt file in "Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live(or liveeu)" and you fix the problem.

Ok, thanks. Are they always missing, or only some of the time?
