Enlightenment working for ANYONE?

I went to sleep hours ago, logged back in & still no enlightenment???
Has anyone seen it working? If so can you screen shot or provide proof?

This only applies towards Champion Point progression.
This bonus experience does not apply towards increasing your level, Veteran Rank, or improving any weapon skills.

Is there any indicator next to your champion points? im downloading the game atm so i wouldnt know

I'm not sure if it is working or not since I was playing within a few hours of patch. What I can say is that in general, the gain of champion points is ridiculously slow. After playing for ~6 hours last night and completing the vet daily, AA, some spell scar, and a murderous rampage, I only gained roughly one quarter of a champion point. That seems a little over the top slow to me.

On PTS you had to wait a day to get the first pack of bonus. Also there was a bug that resetted the account wide pool if you logged in the first time with a character.

I never experienced any one day waits for Enlightenment with my copied NA character during patches 1.6.0 and 1.6.2.unless this is as changed in 1.6.3-1.6.5, Enlightenment seems to be broken.

I definitely did have the 1-day wait on PTS. Did you log in on PTS right after the character copy? Or a day or so later?

I expect to have enlightenment sometime this evening.

I saw it happen on test. The thing is there was one message saying that I was enlightened as the only indicator. So if you are busy or use a lot of messaging add-ons it would be easy to miss. Other then that message I saw no other indicator for enlightenment.
As to the pace it definitely seems slow, but fairly certain I wasn't in the enlightened state. There was also a percentage of the 400,000 ( I could of swore they said it would be less then that) exp needed for a point below the actual progress bar. It read 0% the entire time but when I hover over the bar it does show progress occurring.

NA server. I logged in last night after the download finally completed - no enlightenment but I didn't expect any. Logged in this morning before work- still no enlightenment. So I should expect to see it either 24 hours after first log in? Or tomorrow morning (since I won't be up past midnight if that's when it resets)? Or maybe not ever, if the PTS bug is still there and I log in on a non veteran character that wipes everything?

Thank you for answering! Good to know. I will look for it later tonight on the first vet I logged in under and hopefully it will be there. If not - I know where the /bug report is.

OK, that makes sense. I just got a chance to log in for the first time since update 6 dropped about an hour ago, and it immediately told me "you are no longer enlightened". As I hadn't logged on in over a day, I was a little surprised, but if the timer starts after the first 1.6 log in with a VR character, then it makes sense.

Really? Because I didn't become enlightened until a great time after the 24 hour period (more like 26-28 hours), and even then it seemed like it was only for a few seconds.

Is there any other indication that you are enlightened other than the banner that fly's across the screen for two seconds and hovering over the champion point progress bar?

I'm only asking because I received the banner and saw the new wording when I hovered over the progress bar, but after about 15 seconds the wording disappeared even though I had not even gained any xp...I can't even tell if I am still enlightened.

It's been well over 24 hours since I logged on with my vet toon and I have yet to be enlightened. Someone please flip the switch on!

Huh, I got my enlightenment early then -- it took me 12 hours to download the patch yesterday, so I didn't log in until 1am EST. Got enlightenment at 7pm EST tonight, and knocked out a CP in a few hours in PvP.

No enlightenment after 24 hours for me. How am I even supposed to tell?? I was on one of my vets and thought I might be enlightened because I was getting a bunch more XP than usual. But then after about 11,000 XP I got distracted and died and when I came back and counted, and I most definitely was not.

I keep getting the enlightenment buff for only a few seconds and then it appears to go away...I'm only at 150k out of 400k towards my first champ point (not including the first 70 from being vr14) after 5 hours of questing...This exp gain is atrocious and I really hope the dev's look into how tediously slow it is to gain even a single champ point.

I will randomly receive the message, then check my bar and see it filled with a light green. After a while it goes away. Zoning always seem to make it go away.

Its been over 24 hours since logging into my first VR character.

Why does ZOS love to hide their numbers so much? Why not just have it show up in a tool tip and display how much enlightenment your character currently has? The smoke and mirror stuff really has to stop.

Took more than 24 hours after first logging into Update 6 to get Enlightened. Saw the banner go across screen. But I don't seem to be Enlightened. I kill a mob and green CP bar goes up the same amount as last night when I was not Enlightened. How do I know if I am still Enlightened? If I am not Enlightened, why did it go away so fast? I thought you got a set amount of XP (100,000) to earn every day at the 4x rate. Did I only get like 14 Enlightened XP and burned through it on one mob? The whole system is very opaque and user un-friendly.

I received it just when I was opening a door. I saw the green bar becomes more green in the background when Enlightened but it was lost after it loaded the next zone after opening the door. So I don´t know if this feature gives more XP.

I'm just gonna say that I feel punished for staying logged in the game to do things like talk and check vendors. I havnt gotten cp 1 and a friend who became enlightened has 5 champion points more than me atm because they were logged off for 10 hours. We compared the content we completed such as dungeons and it was about equal.

The enlightenment system isn't a way for people to catch up it's a way to bypass people who don't abuse the system.

Oh, this is even more brilliant. I got enlightenment, and was "awarded" a champ point when I hit 400k xp towards the champ point (big message popped up on screen saying congrats CP!). Tried to apply the CP, and it didn't show in the CP screen. Relogged, and no CP in sight, and now my CP xp bar only shows 122k towards the CP it said I had finished. Bah!

Not working for me either, it popped up message while ago but went away within a few seconds..have played for over 6 hours in last two days and im finally at 50% for my first CP. I spent time grinding mobs for over an hour to get 30% of those, havent done many quest.

Rate of exp is just plain pathetic, will take the avg player days to get ONE for a small tiny boost!

Biggest complaint about this update by far...rethink your exp nerfs and think change this!

My friend and I have done the exact same xp earning things. I was logged in a lot longer than him doing random stuff (non xp-related), and I did not receive enlightenment, he did, and is now 100K xp ahead of me.

I feel punished for logging in, chatting, and hanging out. The way this is working thus far is really discouraging.

Yup... The system loves flashing "You are Enlightened" on my screen for 2 seconds and then removing it. It's more frustrating to think you have earned it and then have it disappear. ZOS is trolling.

So if you wish to become enlightened, you shouldn't log into ESO. Makes perfect sense to me and I'm sure Buddah would agree!
