The move really only hits for 1400-2000 over a few seconds. The dps is good, but nothing to cry about.2 -

I have 25k for the person that can hit harder with their RD than I can with my Killers Blade(Impale) on my NB.
It's channeled for 3 seconds. That's 5 Killers Blade(Impale) with animation cancelling. 50k+ in that same amount of time.

✭✭✭✭Its early, but if I remember correctly im almost positive I used Purge and was able to counter it like Soul Assault unless i have the two mixed up, their both death beams hard to keep the two straight.
If somebody had time this morning test it. There were a lot of death beams being fired from the upper level of Bleakers last night by EP, i remember saving quite a few DC pugs by Casting Efficent Purge on them while they had the white death beam on them and it canceled the effect. So it could be possible that Purge is a counter. Im not home right now, so i cna't test it.
If Purge does indeed cancel RD like it does SA then I just rendered the skill useless as everyone in their brother will now simply run Efficent Purge/Cleanse on 1 of their bars and simply cancel the spell when cast on them if they have no where to LOS or interrupt it.Rinaldo Gandolphi-Breton Sorcerer Daggerfall Covenant

at least you can dodge the other execute moves. You cannot dodge RD, you cannot break the beam with cloak and blocking it only waste more of your time because you will die anyways.
Soul assault vs RD
Blocking soul assault is fine, it last like 3 sec or somethinglike that. Dodgindg it, im not sure but you can break it with cloak and it an ultimate
RD, useless to block, not dodgeable, cant break it with cloak and its a class skill.
Class skill stronger than an ultimate on a class with one of the best survivability is OP.
On top of that imagine 2 unskilled players dying vs me in a 1v2 calling a templar healing using RD so i fight 1v3.
The templar press the auto win key while the 2 others struggle to dps me. +/-32k damage from RD in 3 or 4 sec.
But hey!, RD is fine right? ...not2 -

Are you using Dark cloak? Because, that should work and stop it just like it does SA.0 -

Tank/Healer (easy mode) with RD i am now Tank/Healer and DPS...
last night looked like a game of eve online with all the laser beamzzzzz
I felt cheezy but hell its there- I feel bad for those of you whom will die to this move a lot.

It does 300% damage under 30%

✭✭✭✭I regret even obtaining the gear for my pve Templar magicka setup. I can already tell that this will be another, average at best in pve, ability that gets trashed into worthlessness over pvp. You can block cast every other execute in the game and none of them can be interrupted.
