This is when Fear was changed to cause you to stop blocking when you became feared. This is the first time since launch that fear has ever caused you to drop block. Do I honestly need to dig up the threads of NBs complaining that ppl keep blocking while feared?ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »
- You can no longer block while feared.
NBs all ran Fear because it is and was the best CC in the game regardless of allowing you to block as it did before, or force dropping block as it does now. No iteration of 1.5.X patch notes even mention the word fear except these from 1.5.2That is not the case at all. Fear forced you to stop blocking in 1.5, which is why all magicka Nightblades ran it.

- Werewolf Transformation: Fixed an issue where killing an enemy while feared by this ability would cause the corpse to teleport forward a few meters.
- Monsters can no longer turn their head to look at nearby player characters or objects while they are feared.
- Fear Mages now cast Fright Force instead of Entropic Flare.
- Intimidating Roar now fears its target for a longer duration.

*Sigh*Yes, as I said before it has not been mentioned in the patch notes prior to 1.6 because this was always the case. The game released with fear forcing block to drop, and it still does, nothing has changed. A bug was introduced on the PTS and it was patched back out in 1.6.2.
Oct 2014Aspect of Fear.
A very effective CC ability. also a controversal ability. the "blockig while feared" issue is a hot topic in PvP. I myself believe players should NOT be able to block while feared, as you can just CC break it and end its effects anyway, However, people think differently, and im gonna let y'all talk about that yourselves.
Sep 2014Fear goes through block, but does not remove it. If the blocker keeps holding RMB, he will continue to block attacks, even as he runs around randomly from being feared.
For those who may not know NB fear effects targets who are blocking. Unfortunately, once they are feared enemies can also continue to block through the entire duration of the fear. A cc is of very little value if your opponent can continue to block during the cc.
Is it intended that you can continue to block while feared?

Your statement is just so comically wrong I can only assume you are trying to spread misinformation to score points against Perinub.Fear did not allow you to block in 1.5, or at any time before that. During early PTS testing of 1.6 players were unintentionally able to block while feared. This was removed in a later patch, which was noted in the patch notes. The curators of the patch notes were unfamiliar with this fact, and it was included in the live notes.
You have never been able to block during fear.
I included the latter sentence for irony.

As promised, we have an update on Radiant Destruction. We've confirmed that there is not a damage-stacking bug with the ability, but there is a bug that is allowing Radiant Destruction to deal full execute damage on a target much earlier than is intended. We're testing a fix now, and hope to have it in the next incremental patch.
Were you.... were you so damn lazy and uninventive that you just used the same gif that I posted in this thread?
Wow you did... you used the exact same link..... Are you for real?

Huntlar crying makes me giggle to no end

Dude what? It has nothing to do with failed to test, aside from the execute dmg proc bug that was added in 1.6.5 and hence not on the PTS, every other issue with Jebus Beam had been reported to ZOS in depth on the PTS.If everyone failed to test this ability on pts your problem not the Templar that use it. It has already been Nerfd it had a range of 41 meters in cryo on pts. The scalable damage was also changed on pts. Get over it leave it be. Learn to play and move along.
