Example for clarification:
MR TOON 1 - Had a horse at 50 stamina, and 20 speed on live.
MR TOON 2 - Had a horse at 20 stamina, and 50 speed on live.
ON PTS: ALL CHARACTERS had a horse of 50 stamina, and 50 speed.
This was the case in every character copy I experienced on the PTS. I believe, (and will update with link when I find it) confirmed by @Zos employees.
Now suddenly, the "knowledge base" reads:
"For pre-Update 6 mounts, the highest upgrade EACH character has achieved with THEIR mounts will be transferred into progress on THEIR riding skills."
This does not reflect the PTS. It does not reflect the information that most of us used to buy and feed horses.
@Zos is this a typographical error? Is this a known issue? Or was this just decided on a whim?
I'm sure I'm not the only person who is significantly poorer for having tried to act based on what we saw in the PTS and now very upset.

3. “What if I have lots of mounts? What if I spread the stats around on them all?”
You’ll still have access to all the visuals of those mounts via the Collections menu. If even one of your characters owns a Light Horse, for instance, then all of your characters can choose to apply that visual to their mount at any time.
As stated before, though, only the maximum of each of the three stats, from all of a character’s mounts, will be brought over to your new riding skill. When the changeover happens, each character’s riding skill is determined independently, based only on the stats of that particular character’s mounts.

So, OP is saying that all that feeding and time should have been wasted, and that I should be no better off than someone who's trained only the horses for a single character?
Interesting idea, and to be honest, I personally wouldn't complain if they do that (it'd be to my advantage for any future characters I create), but not the approach I'd pick, just because people *would* whine.
For now though, I'm at 3% download...

No I'm not saying that. I'm saying that's the way it was in the PTS and the way virtually everyone on this forum understood it to be. So we acted on it.

That is why I have been leveling 1 speed, 1 stamina and 1 bag horse for each of my 4 characters (12 horses in total) for the last 6 weeks.
This is from 1.6PTS notes: "The highest upgrade each player character has achieved with their mounts will be transferred into progress on your riding skills."
I have noticed that. It's launch all over again. It's as if the last 11 months never happened.I'm not sure if you noticed but much more of the people in this thread thought it would be on a per character basis. This is the first I've even heard of the idea of it being account wide - I never played on the PTS

No, they were not.
