Update 6, Forced initial respec and cheap respec period please?

ZOS - I was told there would be a forced skills reset with update 6 which makes sense (thank you) as so much has changed Will there also be a cheap (100 gold? ) respec period , and for how long, as well? We all will need to experiment a bit with so many new changes.

Ideally I would like to see (ask) for cheap respec time until the maintenance on March 16th as I don't get as much week night play time and I will use all of two weekends to try and get my experiments completed [8 characters ]

Plans should be firm if we are upgrading next week so can you confirm the plans around this area for all of us?

Agreed. A single forced respec on first log-in won't give people a chance to get it right first time, let alone experiment with what works for them. Giving a short free or cheap respec period would not help the players, it would also help ZOS who I suspect will otherwise get a lot of tickets once people realise they've allocated the points wrongly.

i know there is a forced at first.. however on the PTS the respec costs are still normal..

so probably no phase after.

my suggestion is log on the PTS and test your builds before committing on Live.

There isn't going to be another NA character load into PTS and there hasn't been for a few weeks - certainly never with 1.6.4. So with the update coming this week I guess we will see what we get. I just hope they acknowledge and help people who could not pretest and give us some cheap re spec time. I was hoping to learn what they were going to do here.

Found in another post - looks like no 'cheap' respec period is planned - just an initial reset.

I agree that they should do this. They did it after 1.3 or 1.4 right? I can't remember which one. But I think the need to offer a temporary cheap skill reset option is much greater this time around considering the magnitude if the changes.

With so much changing in the game that we are going to have to learn and adapt to I cringe when I think what I'm going ot be forced to pay in respecs. This was REALLY ill-considered ZOS. I understandthe reset. But we shold still get at least ONE free respec per character after that. You're changing EVERYTHING on us. This isn't fair.

This doesn't affect some players, like me, one bit. I have all skills maxed and every morph maxed, so I don't have to remember what level I had in which skill, or which morph I picked and which one I didn't.

Still, a free respec period for a day or two wouldn't hurt for those who don't have that luxury.
