Muahaha ! i will keep my amazing comment:LoL ratio then!

Your LOLs have been treated the same way as forward camps, mercenary contracts, ground oil and the deers or lately the wolves. They gone. Maybe one day they will make a happy return. By then you must try something else. Maybe write something we find insightful, awesome or even agree.

    I'm glad they removed lols.

They were used as a way for posters to try and demean posts they didn't agree with and often turned into a game of trading each other lols to try and de-legitimatize the other side of a debate.

While the overhaul was focused on the desktop visuals, we were also able to resolve access issues some mobile users were encounters caused by the previous forum structure. The new structure should be far more mobile friendly.

Please let us know about any other issues you encounter, especially on mobile devices, and we'll see what we can do to further improve the mobile experience. To help us track down problems, we ask that you include what browser/device you are using when you encounter an issue. Many of you are already doing this, and we thank you for that!

I am glad LOL is gone to be fair. It was being abused. I'd rather there just be a "Disagree."

There used to be a Disagree button in 2013 and it was removed early 2014. Some closed beta testers were using it to harass others and I remember contentious threads where people complained about the harassment. It made sense that ZOS removed Disagree, but unfortunately LOL became the new Disagree.

I wish the whole forum star system were removed so people would stop playing a forum star contest game and instead use the forums to help others, exchange information, provide constructive feedback, and build relationships.

Sigh.. forum mod talk for.. "we have to make the forums more user freindly for the new B2P console users", without answering the original question.

I guess you never used any other forums. Removal of these systems, in my experience in 15 years of playing forums as well as MMOs, leads to more direct acidic comments, leading to more people reporting the oppsition for bogus things, leading to bans on otherwise helpful posters who were baited by trolls, leading to LESS posting in the forums until they are a wasteland of trolls who appear to be endorsed by management.

Where is the end game? You just played it.
Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.
    Where is new content? Sigh.

I honestly wouldn't mind a Disagree but wouldn't mind if the system was tossed out for good, either. I just think it's obnoxious to use something that is suppose to be a positive thing to mock a post. I'd rather just people disagree with a post than laugh at it. I guess? Either way I knew LOL = Disagree for most occasions.

If you think people clicking a lol button was painful just wait till the consol kids get here . None of you that are worried about this non sense would last 2 seconds in a Call of Duty chat room . They are coming here too . Xbox and Ps4 players will look at these forums and just laugh at how uptight people get . Plus those consol users are the majority of gamers now so their voices carry more weight .

Personally I've never felt harassed on the forums in closed beta or now. I don't think I've ever reported a post even. So for me it doesn't really matter if we have a Disagree or a LOL option. Heck, why not a Pie option. Then we could have a silly Pie achievement where your progress is marked in your profile with a pie chart.

I wonder what would happen if they dared to get rid of the forum achievements system altogether. It seems like its a common practice to have the achievement system, but I feel like it encourages some people to treat forums more like a mini game.

I have to admit I participated in a couple of those "what does LOL mean" threads just to get LOL's for the badges.

But maybe the achievement system has outlived its usefulness. The number of badges or even stars by someone's name does not necessarily correlate with the quality of their posts.

Back on track: the mobile version on my iPhone is much improved. I can see all of the buttons and do not feel that it is necessary to go "full site" to access the functionality anymore. So this change is good for my iPhone.

Still getting used to my android tablet view though. I keep getting the wrong thread when I touch the menu. I guess my fingers are fatter than I thought.

Edit: Yes, what the person above said- back to top button please. All the scrolling is tedious and I keep accidentally rating posts.
