If they start selling armor and weapons that make you stronger, then most players will leave the game. ZOS know this, and if you dont understand the logic, then go away, and dont come back to this thread.
XP boosts does NOT give anyone any kind of advantage, so its ok to sell in a store. Items that makes you stronger is a totally different story.

OK. So selling triat gear in the store is ok too, right? Or any rare item currently in the game is not P2W, right? No matter how rare or had to get, correct? As long as its possible for a player in game to get it, then it's not P2W?
Understand, I'm not opposing these changes, just trying to make you'll recognize what it is.

you dont pay a sub your 10% behindFrom todays Road Ahead:
LOL where do these clueless gamers come from? So many of you around today. NOBODY CARES about level 1-vr14. NOBODY. It is pointless to argue about that since it takes no time to get max level. What we are talking about here is the new endless progression system. The whole point of CP is that you are not supposed to max it out EVER. This means that 10% increase in xp translates to 10% more CP.How the hell is XP boost "winning?"
Is everyone who is VR14 a winner now?
I guess I lost long time ago then, damnit.

XP boostes give you levels, levels give you more Health/ Magica/ stamina; post VR14, it will given you more CP, which can give you all sorts of bonuses (please don't tell me those bonuses are too small to care about {if so, please don't bother to assign any of your CP when the system goes live}).
So my question is simple, Are you ok with the cash store selling VR1 characters? VR14 Characters? CPs? If not, then XP boosts are the same thing, just a "lighter" version. Don't want to call it P2W? Fine, call it Pay to be the most powerful!

Alot of the people whining have been through this song and dance before. First it's exp boosters. Then it's simple armor. Then it's max level characters. These exp boosters are a sign of things to come.Just continuing. If free to play plays just enough to use enlightenment and get X experience, 10% exp boost gives the other player only 2.5% extra experience. It doesn't really help boosted players to run away from other players. It just gets them to the enlightenment limit with a bit less time.
Many of the complaints in this thread would be valid without enlightenment system. Anyway, now complaints I see here are based just on lack of understanding or general willingness of people to whine about everything.

What that sentence is referring to is we’re still discussing what convenience items we'll also make available for purchase in-game with gold. Nothing is defined yet, though.

Pay to win means you can buy stuff through the store others cannot get in the game. Since these apparently will be available in the game for some sort of in game currency I dont see it as pay to win.

@Jamesharv2005ub17_ESO They may not now be available for in-game gold... they've changed the article and now announced that they haven't decided what they are going to sell in game.
