If ZOS were going to give us titles, who should get them?

Have never used a title on any of my ESO characters; don't care whether we get one or not.
If we had to get them out though, might as well give them to whomever was subscribed before March 17th.

Subscribers got pets for you know..paying money to the game...so what if they get titles? Are you saying the loyalty rewards are labellnig the community based on their financial contribution? By the way...saying moving on doesn't make your opinion right, it only makes you look like a child.

Apparently reading is not a stong point with you. Other people in this thread keep throwing out the label "elitist" and I have called them out on using it, not the other way around.

I can also see from the fact you are starting to troll any post I make in other threads, that you are pissed off I have disagreed with your suggestions and so want to keep doing it now, which is indeed childish of you.

No. Like a few others, I think titles should be only tied in with in game achievements. Not based on whether or not you participated in the beta (which I did).

Titles are meaningless ways to implement competition amongst players. They would matter nothing, and IF bonuses followed the titles, they would uneven the players which is something that we haven't seen Bethesda be spokesmen for in the past, and something I don't think would suit them at all.

Personally I would not care if I had a title or not, neither would I want to pm someone and tell them "omg congratulations on having payed the most money for this game over 12 months, you're definitely a higher ranking player than that dude who subscribed 1 week ago and has 2 V14s now".

Imo we have achievements for keeping an eye on our own milestones and not for keeping an eye on everyone else, just to see if you're "better".

Personally I think titles are something you can leave when you leave your diaper

I'm not calling anyone a baby, but the thing I like about the Elder Scrolls Online player environment is that we're mostly quite mature, event though we have young players, and I like that. We don't want this becoming the new WoW where it's all about flashing gear and being the best. Elder Scrolls is about the game goddammit!

Achievements are a good way to have titles but we should have more than that.

Vanity plates sell well for vehicles in every state, because folks like to feel special, even if they're not.

I see no harm in titles for folks in an online video game.

I would like multiple titles given to us, and not just BETA players or 12, 9, 6, 4 or any other time frame listed. I'd also like Elder titles for classes you reached 50 in before f2p.

In theory I think it would be nice to have a title if you've been here since beta because folks that have been here for that long have kept an eye on the progress of the game and have supported it. Anyone who wanted a beta key could get one. However, a lot of people who were here left after a month or two and kind of shafted their guilds, friends, Mara partners, etc....so that wouldn't really be an earned title for a whole lot of people.

Not to derail, but the title I'd really like to see would be some thief titles tied to Ledgerdemain accomplishments, but those will likely happen when/if Thieves Guild content comes out.
