Ofcourse momentum buffs all physical weapons. They consolodated all buffs into categories. If it only buffed 2h damage and nothing else, it would suck. 2H is hard to use, cast time abilities are easy to avoid in pvp, especially when they are melee abilities.
2H is one of the better choices for pvp right now as far as stamina weapons go. Bow is still extremely deadly and will get more kills in open world than anything. 1h and shield is incredibly good defensively. Dual wield is the one which needs some work and improvement IMO.

They are when that is all they do. Yes some stuff can be found from dueling and there should be some done to find those issues but when a large majority of the testing for pvp is being done dueling it hurts testing. Any meta people talk about is based on dueling and not on how pvp will be. Builds that are effective in duels wont be the best builds in true pvp. Stat dispersion right now is based on dueling and not true pvp. The majority of the complaints i see on these forums are based on dueling observations and are written like they are doing actual pvp.
People just need to realize what duel data can and cannot tell. It can reveal some things about dps and cc, but it is a horrible standard for balancing defensive abilities.
For instance, shield stacking may "look" powerful in a 1v1 but add a second attacker, and the shields will never survive the focus fire. Most 2v1s end faster now then they ever did in live. There will be tears.
A lot of duelers get caught up in the aspects of 1v1 balance and miss out on what they should really be worried about. For instance, I know of two aoe builds that are going to get zergs up in arms. Hate the sorc shield? What you should be worrried about is that we can now spam bolt again. Just a few examples not seen in duels that you will face every hour in open world pvp.
