Yup. Had been happening to me as well. However, I do not get an error message. Everything I am fighting stops and just stands there, even though I can still run around. Then the log in screen appears. It's been happening to me DOZENS of times a day since the last maintenance a week or 2 ago.

Random disconnects can have a huge variety of causes. Starting general troubleshooting on the boards is probably going to be less helpful than knowing some additional information up front about your connection and various system specs.

As this is the case, if you are experiencing random disconnects, we ask that you contact Customer Support with a Game Consultant file attached, as well as a brief description of the issue. don't bother sending a game consulting report. they just blame your video card lol. I constantly have completely random crashes and random times where im just magically booted out to the login screen. most of the time it occurs in Sanctum Ophidia. I have no lapse in connection, my computer handles the game just fine so I know its not my video card or anything silly like that. I reported it and sent a game consultant file back about a month or two ago and the ZOS cs agent said its your video card. (my laptop isn't amazing but I meet requirements on everything and play on low settings 90% of the time) my video card falling short of recommended built in ram (by like 512 mb) is certainly not the cause. its not just me having the issue either. This really makes any competitive time in sanctum almost impossible for us. with me being the guilds go to healer, it usually leads to wipes and having to reset. I really wish they would implement a "wayshrine" system for trials so you don't have to make the 20 min run all the way to your group when you dc. like you should be able to port to the last boss killed or a designated spot for instance. If you d/c right before the serpent, youre looking at 5-10 min before you can hope to get back to the group.

Happens to me once in a while also. More so today. Maybe because it's the weekend? Too much server load?

I never have had so many random d/c's in any online game / mmo. It's really starting to get on my nerves.
