Say, I didn't even think of that... I need to make sure my nephew knows about this! He got ESO and played it for a couple of months, but the subscription fee kept him from continuing to play.It will bring a much younger crowd to be sure. Adolescents who would otherwise need their parents' CC for a subscription, for example.

how many do you think will come in and try ESO once it's B2P? I imagine we will get quite a few, and lot's who bought at release and will come back to try it. (PC Only)
Who knows how many players will come and stay long term though. I think the gaming industry is highly competitive, and it's tough to gauge how a game will do with a relaunch (particularly after a pretty rocky original launch which killed a lot of the hype).
If I had to guess I'd say we'll see a pretty good influx of new players for a couple of months, but I don't think the retention rate will be very good at all. I think about 6 months after TU launches game population will be back to about where it is now.

Overall I don't like the idea of a younger crowd being brought in, but I make an exception for my nephew

I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing. When Asheron's call launched I needed my parents' CC for the first couple of years, so I can relate.
