What we paid for since launch:
1. Access to a game called Elder Scrolls Online.
The end. If you did not get your moneys worth, why are you still here?
Correction: What we paid for since launch:
1. Access to a game called Elder Scrolls Online for $15/month to develop content like the Champion and Justice systems that would be B2P for later players.
Fixed that for you. See what the issue is now?
No. You got exactly what they said you would get. During the time you played, they developed improvements that had nothing to do with you. All additions to the game are developed on separate servers and added when they are finished. Just because you were playing during some development does not mean the game you were playing had anything to do with it.
Keep drinking the kool-aid. Just let ZOS walk all over you and do whatever they want, right? Those content updates every 4-6 weeks they promised for your subscription fee? Psh. All those quests that were broken during the Beta, that launched broken, that we paid to be fixed? Psh.
The entire game that is going B2P only after it's finally polished with class balance and animation changes? Changes we paid for while being developed? Psh. No biggy, right?
There's a Bridge in Brooklyn I'd love to sell you.
How they choose to spend their money is none of your business. As far as they are concerned, they made a game, you paid to play it, and then you played it. The sale is complete. And the suggestion that because you paid a subscription, you were guaranteed anything other than playing during that subscription is pretty ridiculous. You don't go buy a car, and then after driving it, accuse the dealer of making better cars with your money and demand compensation. That's just plain stupid. No one is drinking anything, you're just throwing a tantrum.
You're in denial. You want to love the game--I understand that. But they advertised a subscription model without ever intending to keep that model long term. They advertised content every 4-6 weeks, but instead spent the first year and its revenue developing the game to be re-released for B2P players.
You got had. Plain and simple. Stop defending a company that literally screwed you over. Wake up dude. This isn't the game you thought it was. This isn't the game you hoped it was. Do yourself a favor and actually think about what just happened before sinking 2-3 more years watching this game slowly circle the drain as the developers focus on developing the in-game store at the expense of everything else.
You have very bias and flawed logic, and you accusation that I am in denial is pure hypocrisy.
Sorry buddy, I tried. Enjoy ESO until it becomes a cash shop driven disaster like GW2.

Yes, great game, that's why you are here and not there.
This is just unnecessary
Complaining about the UI is completely subjective and the launch bugs are, as usual, completely exaggerated.
Your description of Craglorn doesn't really do it justice either. DSA, 3 trials, a zone filled with fun repeatable group content.
The dyes and guild tabards were part of a big release in which the guild functionality was expanded and guild traders were added. It was a pretty big new system. The dye system added some much requested character customization to the game.
And speaking of new systems..
We've got the daily pledges now, which are a lot of fun to do. And there's some awesome loot to be found in the veteran dungeons. They also added some new vet dungeons like Crypt of Hearts and City of Ash for an extra challenge.
In addition to that, we paid for access to the game. And I'd say that alone was worth it to me.
I don't like the B2P move much either, but let's not start making stuff up about the last 9 (good) months just to complain..

I'm not going to bring the UI debate back from the dead in this thread, but it is subjective. I did not mention the group finder at all, but I believe it was working fine at launch (the quest bugs were the big one).

Playing since early access. Never stopped.
Used the group finder yesterday to find a group for lvl 24 Wayrest Sewers and found a group within 2 minutes.
The guild store search is a bit lacking yes. Really needs some kind of way to remember search settings across stores.

Nice straw-man argument. Please put words into my mouth like "all of the other hundreds of hours of enjoyment do not matter" and twist them to make your so-called argument.
It's no wonder ZOS was and is still able to take such great advantage of you. Did I mention the Bridge in Brooklyn I have for sale?

Launch bugs exaggerated? UI issues "subjective?" You either didn't play at launch/never used the group finder, or you're a robot created by ZOS to do its bidding.

I'm not going to bring the UI debate back from the dead in this thread, but it is subjective. I did not mention the group finder at all, but I believe it was working fine at launch (the quest bugs were the big one).
"You believe it was working fine at launch"?
How long since you played? How long since you last used group finder? How long since you last searched a guild store? Group finder was added months afte rlaunch.
So because a few tools in the game are not perfect, all the other hundreds of hours of enjoyment do not matter...
Why are you even here?
Nice straw-man argument. Please put words into my mouth like "all of the other hundreds of hours of enjoyment do not matter" and twist them to make your so-called argument.
It's no wonder ZOS was and is still able to take such great advantage of you. Did I mention the Bridge in Brooklyn I have for sale?
All I was saying is that your complaints are petty and I'm willing to bet you played for hundreds of hours or you would not be on the forums right now trying to convince us that you got ripped off.

You're in no position to tell anyone that their complaints are "petty," particularly when those complaints arise out of a subject notion like value. Unless you're the most irrational and unreasonable person who has ever existed. Are you?

Sadly, ZOS thinks your notions of value are petty, too.

Not exactly true... bank space; bag space; character slots; races; ship upgrades...
While character slots, races, and ship upgrades are not essential to play, there is NO WAY to play SW-TOR effectively as F2P without purchasing additional bag and bank space.
If you were a subscriber with multiple alts and then unsubbed, guess what? You can't play your alts. You say you "...geared your 8 characters to max..." as F2P? No, you didn't. You don't get 8 characters as F2P.
If you were a subscriber and had unlocked all the various race-class combinations and then unsubbed, guess what? You lost those options.
I won't call it intrusive, but some of the store gimmickry was indeed "in your face", too.

Money well spent.
Playing since early access. Never stopped.
Used the group finder yesterday to find a group for lvl 24 Wayrest Sewers and found a group within 2 minutes.
The guild store search is a bit lacking yes. Really needs some kind of way to remember search settings across stores.
Try it for VR dungeons and let me know how it goes. I'll wait.
