Oh, of course. Since they don't agree with you, they must not exist. People must just be talking to themselves across a dozen accounts. And changing their voices in TS.
I'm not dragging anyone's name in here to be talked down to by people like you. Go ask ingame. Actually talk to people and try, for once, to listen instead of immediately responding with condescension. If you're even capable of that.
No offense here. But who are you to speak for these 'people'? How is anyone here supposed to know that what you say is true?
Im not saying they need to come here and speak their minds. But geez. Dont pretend as if you have a right to speak for them because youve heard them say things that only you can verify.
Because whiny PvP batswarm standing casuals are praising a system that largely changes ( and imo breaks ) the majority of end game content. But I can't make anyone understand how to L2P .....just like after 1.6 when then same people complain because 3 ult every 8 secs isn't enough for you.

The people I've spoken with that support the ult change do so for PvE, not pvp. I rarely ever pvp in the first place, too painful on my rig. Lag central.
Tax time upgrades! Can't wait.

I really don't understand why a PvE player would support this....it doesn't diversify anything about builds....other than the fact none of them build ult....which is not cool. Using my ult as a part of my build to raise my dps in a dungeon doesn't hurt anyone else's game experience.

Don't pretend that this ultimate change will break the high end contents prior to testing it for real. 1.6 is not only about this change... And actually, you are the one who whines.

Not speaking for anyone else (heh), I can only tell you why I personally support the change. Ultimate abilities, for me, should feel like something special. A powerful ability that you have to use with thought, instead of something that you can spam so quickly that you can drop multiple banners/veils/etc in concert.
That's my reason. I'm also excited to see how strats for Trials and things like VDSA change and adapt with the coming changes. I find it fun to develop strategies to overcome difficult stuff. It will be, arguably of course, more challenging to complete this content without ult spam.
I realize I'm not in the majority, but I'm far from the only one, as you suggested.

But still some classes and especially some skills do not regenerate Ultimate Points at equal speed, I can only speak for healers:
Look at Puryfying Ritual + Healing Springs to see the difference! While the PBAE-resto heal would regenerate ultimate points at "normal speed", the Puryfying Ritual won't at all, even not if crit-healing with a tic. Nonetheless this are two spells that do quite the same! You can test this yourself with any Templar.

See, this is where game BALANCING comes in, as opposed to simplistically applying a ridiculously over the top nerf to force everyone down to the same, mediocre level. The appropriate response would be to reduce the ultimate gain on healing springs to the same level as purifying ritual or vice versa to balance it. That is the point I am trying to make. If you make the same impact on a fight as someone using a different skill, you should gain the same ultimate. I shouldn't have to worry about light attacking constantly when my priority is healing and shielding my group.
They've already said healers will get the buff by healing players who recently attacked an enemy with a light or heavy attack. So no, you don't have to worry about light attacking as a healer.

Age of Conan. Huge hype, huge number of players day one, empty guilds at 3-6 months.
Why? Bugs that should have been fixed before release. Band-aid fixes, and dumb decisions by the developers.
I'd rather NOT see ESO go that direction because it has a lot of potential.

Alright then. You do that.
The rest of us will keep on discussing reality instead of pointlessly speculating.
