I agree that Meteor is crap right now and looks like it needs fixing.
However, imagine it was actually useful: It would be purely furstrating to play against. Especially when a bunch of trolls decides to drop 5+ from stealth. Sure, it's fun for them a few times, but at the end of the day, such an ability makes the game worse.
Imho right now having a useless ultimate is better than having a broken one. Maybe they can change it completely. But the current way (instant range AoE cast) just means it's either bad and useless or useful and annoying as hell

FFS skip your DK whining, it doesent matter if RS is norfed or not. an ULTIMATE should not be affected by class and weapon non ultimate skills.
it should be either all or none - if you make the soul strike dmg purge able as it is a dot so should standard to.
if meteor can be reflected by RS and defensive stance so should standard be dispelled by cleansing ritual e.g. too.

Soul strike isn't exactly amazing in a 1v1 now is it? And why is that? Because it's cast time. Soul strike primary use is screwing over someone who's occupied and can't counter it. Fd damage isn't a problem.. It's cast time is

Idk, I actually run Soul Assault pretty much 100% of the time. I just save it for when my target gets low enough on stamina he/she can't stun break a Crystal Frags knockdown. Getting off an Endless Fury just before a Crystal Frag proc that your target can't stun breaker is the perfect setup to let Soul Assault fly and finishes off the target 90% of the time. In that example I find it pretty useful in a 1v1.

Anyway I do agree reflective scales seems to be able to reflect a lot of abilities that makes it rather OP and quite frankly a bargain to use considering the cost.
Really hope the revise this and other reflective abilities to prevent this sort of thing from trivializing abilities.
Really sick of people suggesting to Sorcerers they should get a shield inorder to play tennis with a DK.

Sorcs can absorb unlimited projectiles until 1.6 with BoL. If you want to reflect it back use s&b if you want to dodge it just roll. Plenty of options out there.
But like I've said its being changed in 1.6 so this thread is useless.
