Meteor Changes Needed

    It'd be awesome to have a whole group of people drop AoE meteors at once, on one group of people. Imagine it...

    Been there done that plenty of times.. funny as hell ;)

    • Fix Volendrung (spawn location - weapon white on the map causing the wielder to keep it forever - usable with emperorship)
    • Remove / Change CPs System, remove current CP/noCP campaigns and introduce one 30days with lock, one with no locks
    • Fix crashes when approaching a keep under attack because of bad / wrong rendering prioritization system
    • Change emperorship to value faction score points and not alliance points - see this and this
    • Fix long loading screens (mostly caused by players joining group out of rendering range)
    • Add 2 more quickslots to the wheel or add a different wheel for sieges weaponry only
    • Fix Balista Bolts not dealing damage on walls or doors if deployed at a certain place
    • Release bigger battlegrounds with 8 to 16 players per team and only two teams
    • Fix the permanent block animation - see examples : link1 link2 link3 link4 link5
    • Gives players 10 minutes to get back into Cyrodiil after relogging / crashing
    • Add a function to ignore the Claiming system of useless rewards
    • Improve the Mailing System / Rewards of the Worthy stacking
    • Assign specific group sizes to specific campaigns (24-16-8)
    • Make forward camps impossible to place near objectives
    • Make snares only available from ground effects abilities
    • Change emperorship to last minimum 24hours
    • Fix body sliding after cc breaking too quickly
    • Remove Block Casting through Battle Spirit
    • Fix the speed drop while jumping - see video
    • Fix loading screens when keeps upgrade
    • Fix Rams going crazy (spinning around)
    • Bring back dynamic ulti regeneration
    • Fix speed bug (abilities locked)
    • Introduce dynamic population
    • Lower population cap by 20%
    • Add Snare Immunity potions
    • Bring resurrection sickness
    • Fix character desync

    That's why it can be avoided with dodge roll. I think that would allow it to be used in the fun way you're referring to, without being an insta-gib gank tool. It wold be best suited for choke points and clumped players hurting those who fail to roll dodge in time imo.

    FFS skip your DK whining, it doesent matter if RS is norfed or not. an ULTIMATE should not be affected by class and weapon non ultimate skills.
    it should be either all or none - if you make the soul strike dmg purge able as it is a dot so should standard to.
    if meteor can be reflected by RS and defensive stance so should standard be dispelled by cleansing ritual e.g. too.
    this good damn favoring of some abilities needs to go (that that would hit Dks the most is nothing but a coincidence... prolly because of their preferenc by the devs{?})
    This is true, the cast time for fd makes it awful most of the time cause of crushing shock, bash and venom arrow... It's only used for the passive.
    thats a joke right? why do people even bother using soul strike then? its aswell affected by CS, VA, bash and on top purge, cleansing ritual and negate...
    the pathetic dmg of dawnbreaker vs non deadrics, vamps and WWs. i would have accepted but the CT? :p

    Soul strike isn't exactly amazing in a 1v1 now is it? And why is that? Because it's cast time. Soul strike primary use is screwing over someone who's occupied and can't counter it. Fd damage isn't a problem.. It's cast time is

    You can't purge standard by the way because it's a gtae... Cinderstorm and veil work the same way

    Idk, I actually run Soul Assault pretty much 100% of the time. I just save it for when my target gets low enough on stamina he/she can't stun break a Crystal Frags knockdown. Getting off an Endless Fury just before a Crystal Frag proc that your target can't stun breaker is the perfect setup to let Soul Assault fly and finishes off the target 90% of the time. In that example I find it pretty useful in a 1v1.

    If they're low enough in stamina where they can't break the stun from Crystal Frags, they're pretty much dead anyway.

    Here's my logic ..... Dragons or Dragons powers > Real life logic ... Or want more science...... Fantasy > Real Life ..... Magic > Science ...... Faith > Logic ...... Look at what happened to the Dwemer. Said logic is better than magic and they got genocide and 2 gods and a goddess wore born. Real life blows and Fantasy life rules.

    If you even look past it being reflected and make it not reflectable I can still roll dodge it. Are you saying change that too? Something any player can do?

    Anyway I do agree reflective scales seems to be able to reflect a lot of abilities that makes it rather OP and quite frankly a bargain to use considering the cost.

    Really hope the revise this and other reflective abilities to prevent this sort of thing from trivializing abilities.

    Really sick of people suggesting to Sorcerers they should get a shield inorder to play tennis with a DK.

    Sorcs can absorb unlimited projectiles until 1.6 with BoL. If you want to reflect it back use s&b if you want to dodge it just roll. Plenty of options out there.

    But like I've said its being changed in 1.6 so this thread is useless.

    They did say this in the late December episode of live.
    Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

    I wouldn't say it's useless. If you watched the latest ESO live you hear them begging players to get on the PTS like every 10 minutes and wanting players to provide feedback. That being said, sure a lot of things are going to change, but providing discussion based around current mechanics helps the devs see what players want and influences how they proceed with changes.

    Having a solid discussion about meteor now will only help them decide how to implement it in regards to how it relates to all these new changes. If I were in the devs' shoes this would be a pretty useful discussion (considering if they ever see the thread to begin with). Forums are a place for discussion. What may seem useless to you might not be the case for everyone.
