Yeah, I had this message appear for a few days while I was playing on a DC character, I was also a vampire.
I had already finished DC zones and was into silver content but I was jumping in and out of Cyrodil a lot, which is when I would get the notification (after returning from Cyrodil)
After a few days I stopped getting the message so never tracked down which quest was causing it.
It's possible I still had an unfinished quest from stormhaven which I abandoned to make room in my log.

That's a generic placeholder message for a failed quest or quest objective. Essentially, "tracker goal text" is "Write something here." That means that something is probably going awry with one of the quest trackers and a more verbose failure message needs to be added (e.g Failed: You left the quest area, or something similar).

If the issue persists, please ensure that you use the /bug feature to report it. This will give the developers a list of the quests that you're currently on as well as your progress in those quests, which will let us know where the error is.

If it is no longer occurring and you happen to remember the name(s) of the quest(s) that you abandoned in Stormhaven when the issue ceased, that would also be helpful to our investigation. Thanks for your patience and the report!

Its definitely A Family Affair I had the same issue until I completed it. It began at the stage before you go to untie the girl (Genese?)

I only saw it when I logged out. Once I abandoned all the quests I had for that area and did them over again it went away. I had three quests I think I had to redo since I had just entered the zone.
