Since TESO's action bar and weapon swap design were influenced by GW2's design, I would be perfectly fine with ZOS just outright 100% copying it.

that doesent work either, with my chars i would be totally screwed that way as i´m only useing 1-2 weapon skills at all on my chars...

Well I'm also only using 1-2 weapon skills per bar now because of the constraint of only have 5 available slots. How would giving you access to all five of your weapon abilities screw you over?

All five might be overkill, but being able to use 4 class skills plus 3 weapon skills would be nice (or 3 Class skills plus 4 weapon skills).

So many skills....but not enough slots, I want to have a diverse style afterall..more skills i would like to use frequently with one another, unable to set up a beginning middle end combo, doesn't it disappoint when you realize your leveling the wrong types of skills, I can't plan my set up on the short bus that's all..

The system does not have to bend and change, the individual does. It is what it is, and diversity in style would actually be diminished by increasing skill slots. Personally I think there's nothing wrong with it at the moment in relation to the number of skill slots we have on our hot bar/s.

I don't believe there is really such a thing as 'leveling up the wrong type of skill'. You do what you think is best at the time, and when/if you want to change you have many options in-game these days to do so. It's really very easy to choose and start using new skills, it just takes time. But time =? difficulty.
If you can be anything, be kind.

Deciding what you want to put in your slots is part of this game. Some players do amazingly well with the slots as they are.

Does this sound funny or is my mind just in one of the gutters of Tamriel?

This is the main problem for me. You can't build an efficient build, with only 10 slots. Especially as a Sorcerer, where many of your skills need 1 slot on each bar to be efficient.

I think, 6 slots on each bar would help a lot. So 12 slots total.

True. Nothing more taxing then having two summon pets, bound armor and mage light on each bar just to keep them up.

Should only be required on one bar. Pet dies you switch out to summon it.

not the availability of weaponslots would screw me but the unvailability of class slots. (reduction from 8-10 to 4.)

I think five skills per bar is fine, but I like to see all the skills persistence between weapon swapping, so you don't waste 2 slots with certain abilities.

The only skill that shouldn't be persistence across weapon swaps would be the Ultimate's. You could still swap weapons after dropping an ultimate, but you couldn't activate the second ultimate until the previous one cooled down.

All the skills i loved while leveling up but now cannot use because i run the awesome build i love so much chainpulling firebreathing crushing shocking standard stacking..

    Draw essense
Destructive clench ( never forget the moment i accidently discovered the knockback)

I guess having to miss all these skills on my bar is cool, compared to maxing out my healing and investing 20 skillpoints in it, only to accept nobody wants a dk healer in a vet dungeon lol

ex : wow players ... suck

Never played WOW beyond the first free 20 levels. Did play DAoC with 10 ability slots that were switchable with up to 4 different bars! That meant we had 40 abilities available with the flick of a new bar! We had abilities with actual follow up abilities that did devastating damage if you followed up the first ability correctly! Melee users had up to 3 actions with a main and 2 follow ups that could really wreak havok so 10 slots was a must for having at least 3 main attacks. So, please, stop spouting the WOW players ad homonym attacks. They're neither helpful or productive.

Especially class skills or any summons! Why should a summon de-spawn when you change your weapons? Explain the thinking behind this one? When I summon my Undaunted Blood Font and swap weapons, the blood font doesn't disappear! Why should my pets or summoned armor disappear?

This game has just the right number of skill slots. Please don't change it.

The problem is the insane number of abilities that require 2 slots. This affects certain classes much more than others. For example, reflective scales and spiked armor get to share a slot for dk, while bound + lightening armor needs 3 for sorcs. Pet damage in the new patch will take 3 slots, 2 for a single pet and one for the curse. Dks main damage spam takes 1 slot. Add magelight for pve crit and pve detection and the sorc is down to 2 abilities. Two. Even using 2 slots for magelight the dk still has 5 left, with magelight, 2 different armor buffs, and a damage spam. Sorc has 2. Two is not enough.

If they do not want to add any more slots because of consoles, They do however need to make persistent skills stay on when you swap weapons.

This will not break the game in any way I can see.

I still love the number of skill slots. Even if some characters have to "waste" some on summons/buff skills, etc. But if you for example gave them some auto-use slots for buffs, those characters without buffs to slot there would be at a disadvantage...

Personally I hope they won't change that system. I like it the way it is, becuase it does require more thought then most games. Even if I can never have all the stuff I want at my fingertips each and every second of the game.

Maaaaayyyyybe they could add a third weapon swap option someday. Maybe. I doubt it would really be neccessary, but... who knoes?
Or perhaps a situational third skill slot set... say, for mounted combat (Oh, how I'd like to see that in the game...)

The problem is some classes are encouraged to waste half their slots and others are not. The incoming sorc "damage buff" will require 3 slots in itself.

People must not forget that not every ESO player is from the MMO corner. I did play LOTRO and liked the world but not the grind and feeling of the fights. I love games like skyrim, fallout, masseffect. ESO is for me a game that made the right mix. I don't mind to learn some MMO skills. And you have to think about your build and what you put on your bar and rotation. It is difficult to choise somethimes because i like so much of the options. But in a fight i like that the choises are limited. So i can doge and block and feel immersed in the game. Watching or focussing only on my rotation with 10 opions is not my way of playing.
