The no sound thing..

Feels like its happening more of late, and its incredibly annoying to have to alt+f4 to get back into cyro every time it crap outs. Btw even then there is a process hang which annoying along with (pretty sure) you have another minor memory leak, Fix your game please @ZOS_BrianWheeler‌ @ZOS_PaulSage‌ I can't see people wanting to pay for a game that can't even deliver sound consistently for much longer.

I do not choose to use Alt+f4. Im to affraid i get a loading screen of death and find myself back in the queue for cyrodiil again.

This happens a lot too was going to mention but I didn't want an overload of Q.Q in one thread (my usual style).

Sometimes it doesn't though? or comes back in a screechy burst then you only get 50% of the sounds.

Today I had the opposite. I cast a shield and the sound kept repeating and layering over itself until it sounded like the ocean and got so loud I had to turn the sound down

What do you mean by "extra?" I would settle for "some" and even then, most of that will be from paying customers on the PTS.

I know it drives me nUtZ ! It reminds me of Tom Hanks in Saving Private Ryan when a mortar goes off right next to him . So I blame Tom Hanks .

It's funny you should mention that .... I find that my game sounds go away whenever Tom Hanks & crew show up in game.

This happens to me when large blobs of lag filled death collide with each other: I get an in-game explosion, then poof; my sound is gone.

I do log off and risk the loading screen of death. sometimes its a 2 minute wait; sometimes its a 30 minute wait.

Happens in trials at times as well, depending on the number of abilities going on. Kinda wondering if it's a side effect of animation canceling on a large scale.

Just a note, it may be due to onboard sound versus not. As you can see in my sig I run an Asus Essence STX II and I have never had an issue with sound outage. My guild mates complain often in TS about it and to date they all use onbaord.

the only time my sound cuts out is in prolonged closed quarter battles with a lot of sounds and effects going off. Once the sound is gone though after recent "fixes" it never comes back like it once did. I'm forced to deal with it or alt + f4

Usually a death fixes it for me. In a massive battle, the sounds will become all quiet and muted. As soon as you die and hit the respawn button, all the sounds get played at once.

If it was only about the sound bugging out, I wouldn't mind. Unfortunetly, in large battles, there is also the skills animations being invisible, the siege weapons not dealing any damage or the siege crosshairs disapearing so you have to disengage / re-engage the siege position multiple times to get it back otherwise you fire 1feet in front of you.

Yesterday my sound disappeared for more than 10 minutes & death did not reset it.

I showed some friends the game over this holiday season and of course the sound stopped working. With the very obvious bugs they were not interested in a sub.

once it's gone it's just gone. our group usually plays for hours and by the end we're all in silence afraid to alt f4 into infinite loading screens and hour of queue.
