How do you use /EN /DE /FR Chats?

I see them occasionally but I can't seem to make the slash commands for those channels work. Wouldn't it be nice if we could convert one of them /EN to a Guild Invite Chanel that people can turn on or off at will? I mean, come on, Zone chat is already an English channel is it not?

    Officially, no. Practically, yes, but only by force of habit. It has been stated by ZOS in the past that /zone is a multi-language chat without any expressed or implied language preference.

    The language-specific chat channels are /enzone, /dezone, and /frzone, for English, German, and French, respectively. You will have to check them in the chat box options in order to have them displayed. This can be done individually for each tab.

    These channels exist on both EU and NA server as far as the software is concerned. I know how to enable seeing them just not how to speak in them, I have been using the wrong slash commands. I thought the short versions /en, /FR and /DE were supposed to work but I see now you have to type out the full channel names you gave.

    I am french speaker , so sorry in advance for my bad english.

      To always display what it says about the specific language area channels you must check it in the chat box options (small gear on the top right of the chat box> parameter> check / FrZone for example)
    In fact the EU server they are not widely used, most people post in their own language on the general Canal ....

    I see a lot of chat in the general zone in different languages - as there should be. I don't know how much the language specific zones are used, but it's cool to have them for the players who object to having to read languages different to their own.

    But yeah it would be nice to have a guild invite channel or a trade channel :)

    I just think the ENZone is superfluous to the regular Zone chat it would make for a good guild invite channel.
