It is about being punished for doing in game content.
Who cares if the reward is 1% or 10000000% bonus to hp. Its how they are willing to design the game to punish current players who ACTUALLY play the game content.
It's not a punishment, you can get to undaunted level 10 pretty fast and they aren't in any obligation to award retroactively points for things you did before.
Just keep playing the game and chill, this is not an important nor a gamebreaking issue.
Furthermore, since I have multiple characters, this becomes a huge mindless grind.1 -
