Which of the zones do you dislike the most?

So far I have liked every zone in the game I have come across.

    That being said....

I find myself quickly getting bored of the scenery, I have gone from a mushroom filled zone to another zone with more mushrooms. Both zones are pretty, but after one zone of delectable fungi, I feel I want something different.

    Each faction has this problem.

The capital cities also irk me (not a zone but a big part of three zones, or should be).

I kind of wish they went the GW2 route and instanced these cities. Yes I love the fact the cities and towns are a part of the zone, but I think they shot themselves in the foot with this on the capital cities. They should be grand things with lots of people to talk to and buildings to explore. Currently they are meh, and that kind of takes down the appeal of the entire zone that they reside in.

no real dislike for any of the zones.

stormhold, in shadowfen, is the goto city for my main.

my second toon, however, has a long way to go before she'll see it.

Far as hate goes...Stonefalls. Definitely Stonefalls. Grey, gloomy, barren landscape and those fricking dunmer who behave like they all as one have entered annual "dumbest NPC of the game" contest.
"Oh, an Argonian that wants to save my life? OMG no way, better death than help from this filthy slave! You! Yes, you, hero! You can save me, I graciously allow you. Well, as long as you aren't an Argonian."
"I'm just going to summon this gigantic fire spitting bone colossus(Balreth), there's ABSOLUTELY no way this could go wrong...oh ***, I can't control it, ruuuuuuuun for your life!"(totally unexpected)
"Now that brother of Strife #1 has almost killed us all, I'm going to summon Brother of Strife #2! Hell yes!"(if only here was, ah, I don't know, some sort of clue as to how that could go wrong, like someone doing this kind of thing a few days before...)
^that's basically my impression from the zone=P The only sane dunmer I remember seeing there was a ghost, death must've had a revitalizing effetc on his brains.
I'm inclined to give Tanval a pass on that last one. Seeing his son killed before his eyes clearly led him to short-term insanity. His great-great-granddaddy in the Indoril Crypt knew something was up, saying that Tanval would destroy everyone. He does come to his senses and say he was a fool, and makes amends for his actions.

But then, I really love that Stonefalls arc. A lot of tragedy and redemption going on there.

I love Stonefalls. Whenever I'm there, I feel that I've come home. I would love a house in Davon's Watch or Ebonheart. Or Mournhold, though that's Deshaan.

funny thing about the argonian thing.... if your character is argonian... gervis still un-hesitantly accepts your help... and STILL talks crap about argonians... its pretty funny/

Yep, welcome to TES. Try playing Skyim as an Altmer. Nords everywhere hail you as a brother, and other Altmer treat you like dirt.

A lot of the EP cities stand out to me but I did start my char in that faction so I'm somewhat biased. Mournhold, Windhelm, Eldenroot, and Daggerfall are awesome. Davon's Watch is another good starting city but more for the atmosphere of newcomers than for looks.
I'm just a banana from another dimension.

Evermore in Bangkorai with 6 different kind problems to deal with - I felt like - just die already and leave me alone! You are obviously doomed anyway!

But generally Stormhaven - the quests are stocked next to each other and it makes no sense. I wish I could just make them fight with each other...

On the other hand, the environment for Deshaan, let alone having to deal with Almalexia, just felt boring to me.

that is exactly the reason why I wish they would add branches with full deep stories instead of stortened version nobody is really happy with. They thought that if it will be boring for someone atleast it will be short. But its boring anyway and ppl who would enjoy it, for them its too short, so they have to do something else they wouldnt want. so the problem does repeat...

I loved dealing with Almalexia and I wished it would be longer - so why not make more deep quests in the same area that would extend different kind of stories that are 1 shot now so ppl would be able to choose what they like? This is the most unlucky solution :(

Half forest half desert with no tapering annoys me but all the zones were well done. Craglorn is ok, I understand that it looks the way it should look due to placement on the map, but can't wait until the other Zones

The zone with the big three.. Grahtwood. If you are on a quest, and jump down 1 meter to pick up a flower or something... Believe me. You will never ever find your way back to your quest.

I was going to do a dolmen. Ported to a wayshrine right next to it. I had to walk all around the mountain, through 2 doors in the city, and back up again. You can see the dolmen next to the shrine, south from the tree.. And the long wall going all the way to the city.

    Whole AD zone.
You start off nicely as EP player - first some snow, then some volcanic area, swamp, more snow, forest. Good memories there.

Then you reach Aldmeri Dominion - Forest, more forest, darker forest, another forest and a desert. For some time after that horrid experience i refused to team up with Bosmer characters.

putting veteran zones aside here. In your opinion, what is the "worst" zone in the game? im just curious to see what people think.

Auridon. I walk around there with the feeling there can be a unicorn jumping around at any moment. Its like the queens garden, not actual wilderness. I hate it. And the quests there are either:
    1. Village is attacked, help village. Or:
    2. Help us defeat/calm these spirits in this ruin.

Overall I was pretty damn happy to get the hell out of there.

All of the AD zones bored me. I was very disappointed. After all the praise i heard about them, i expected absolute epicness from them.

The first AD ride through hell(a tiny reference to a very bad video game:D) is Auridon. I actually liked it, though i found the cliffs to be annoying. then came the next four zones...

They are all Valenwood!!!!! too much valenwood!!!! ZOS had a great opportunity to take us to Elyswir, yet they skip out on that for four( 3 of them horrendus) zones of Valenwood. I dont understand it.

In DC zones, we got to go to High rock and the Alikir desert. Soon we will get to go to orsinium(which, despite the fact i would rather it be postponed for PvP fixes, am interested in trying) In EP we got to go to Morrowind, Black Marsh, and skyrim. Yet in AD we can't go to the zone everyone wanted to go to... elsywir.

    Another missed opportunity:(

Everything AD. I don't like the area, the people who live their and the quest series there suck. Also Craplorn because nobody can quest with me because i am at the begin stage and all others i know are not. So i can not advance. I am now levelling my NB to use skirt and stick so hopefully i can find a way to do it solo. If not then Craglorn is the worst area there is.

Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

Stonefalls and shadowfen were my least favorite, followed closely by coldharbour. Malabal tor and rivenspire were pretty meh, but everything else was pretty interesting. Really loved the snowy regions after slaving through forests constantly in AD.

Craglorn is a complete failure of a zone. If it were not for trials and the dragonstar arena, almost noone would even go there.

Shadowfen. Everywhere a hostile creature sneaking. Not once did I try to escape crodiles only to find a fricken zoo is following me. The most boring quests too. Stonefalls is a close call just because of its lava fields. The design looks great but my sensitiv vampires can´t stand the smell of sulfur.
