I've done them all now. Ghratwood is by FAR the worst. One Dollmen is almost impossible to get to and the shrine you get ported to when travelling to a player is no where near the dolmen due to cliffs.

Long coast dolmen? You can climb up the cliff pretty fast on 2 or 3 places near the wayshrine, or you can ride to the cave near the wayshrine, and bypass the stone formation in the middle, there's a spot where you can jump up the stones.

I dislike Shadowfen and I realized why last night while playing Skyrim. Shadowfen to me is The Rift of ESO, you can't go 30 feet without something popping out of the bushes or muck to attack you. I like animal encounters as much as the next person but they seem too dense in The Rift and Shadowfen in both games.

Shadowfen didn't particularly feel as swampy as it could have been. The grass was too short. Would've had a better feel if it were darker and had a lot of tall reeds.

Was not a fan of all the mushrooms in the EP areas. The concept of mushrooms as trees is cool, but there're way too many that it detracts from the feeling.

Just minor gripes. I haven't been playing consistently lately, so I can't remember which zone I hated the most in particular.

Cliffs. Cliffs everywhere. Every zone: Auridon, Greenshade, Grahtwood, Malabal Tor, Reaper's March. Cliffs right in the middle of the damn zone that I can't go over or around without having to travel across half the zone to find a useable path.

Ha! And here I thought it was just me. Sure the areas look nice but they're just so soul sappingly tedious.

Easy....I can't stand The Rift at all. Everything about it sucks, the quests, the monotonous terrain, the horrible drop in fps in Riften, the spam you see in chat for guilds and item selling, and last but not least I sadly have been tormented by the same voice over and over for the Nords that I now hate Nords in general when they used to be my fav.

Alik'r Desert was my least favorite zone. It just looked incredibly dull and... sandy... And some of the NPC's talked so sloooowwwwwly.

And I sincerely hope I never have to hear someone utter "Tu'whacca" again!

Shadowfen. Trying to navigate it (at least, in the way I get around) is a terror. I don't really hate it, but if I had to do a zone over again, Shadowfen would be on the bottom of the list.

To be honest, all the zones I've been in were/are enjoyable for me to a point (whether for the looks, quests, etc), but boy was I ever glad to get out of Shadowfen once I completed it. Funnily enough though, Stormhold is one of my favorite cities (because of layout, open areas, and not much lag), so I find myself porting back to Shadowfen more often than I normally would.

Desert zones are not my favorites either. Too bright and monotonous for my tastes. The nights in them are nice though!

As for just cities, Riften is definitely on the top of my HATE list... The lag is terrible and I don't care for the layout of it either. I am NEVER going back there now that I have done everything. (I do like the Rift overall despite that.)

Stormhaven's been my least favourite zone so far, since the landscape and storyline don't even try to put a twist on the typical Medieval European Fantasy setting.

Since I don't feel like being entirely negative, I think I'll mention my favourite zone as well: Rivenspire. I loved Rivenspire's landscape and storyline, and both proved to be a refreshing change from the dull, unexciting landscape and storyline of Stormhaven.

Have to say I'm not the biggest fan of Valenwood as a whole. It is very pretty and very different to other ES areas, I've just never been a big fan of jungle type areas. More Sunmerset would be lovely for some variety, or indeed Elsewyr.

I think they did too much valenwood. The first AD zone is summerset, which is pretty cool, but the next 4 zones is valenwood..... To much of it. ZOS had an opportunity to go to Elsewyr, but they pass it up for 4 zones of valenwood.... vlaenwood is nice..... but it was done too much. Anyone that is up to date with elderscrolls history knows that a lot of people want to go to Elsewyr, ZOS missed the chance to fulfill that wish.

I hope that they add more Elsewyr in future updates. I'm sure it will come. I never play a Khajiit, but I do love those crazy cats.

Shadowfen, it's just a complete nightmare to navigate around and the crocodiles... Can't seem move three paces without stepping on one.

Have to agree here. I hate being fishbowled. There should be some kind of mountaineering skill (lol!) that allows you to climb over mountains instead of this having to ride around them for what seems like hours. Or at least provide some secret passages thru the mountains gained by doing quests or talking to the right people.

Off-topic but also similarly, I hate having to fight in areas that are cluttered. I do a lot of moving, dodging and blocking while fighting and getting held back by a chair or cat or something literally cramps my style.

lol. Last I was there, a lvl 3 took the quest, and kept activating the zombie over and over again. me and other players watched the zombie kill her. hehe. I think she got suspended for it, did not see her after that.

Shadowfen by far. Malabal Tor was not that great either but all the EP-zones are annoying me a bit.
