This has pretty much been my experience as well. Tanking or dps, my nightblade hasn't been able to get into a group through lfg. I have been trying since level 25. She's now lvl 37. Pretty much just resigned to using chat to group and hoping for the best.Tested this morning on my Nightblade I am leveling. He's level 31 and I tried to cue as dps for Crypt of Hearts. 2 hours later of collecting lorebooks, nodes, and killing random mobs = no movement whatsoever on the grouping tool. Just the spinny thing I've come to greatly dislike.
That depends on which content you want to do. If you want to do the Normal content scaled to Veteran difficulty, you do the first thing. If you want to do the Veteran content, you do the second thing.I've been talking with a few Vet players yesterday and there seems to be a confusion which search combination to use? Do you use "dungeon" as your activity and their select one of the Vet level dungeons, or do you select "veteran dungeon" as an activity and then select one of the few Vet dungeons that are listed?

Allow players to search open groups sorted by level, activity, and roles needed. If they see a group doing something they want to join, let them click a 'join' button. The group leader will see that they have a pending group member and can either approve or decline. Simple. If there isn't a group doing what you want to do, you can start one.

Agreed. Revert that change for the short-term, and ditch the 5-Veteran Ranks-either-way limit (so a VR6 could group with a VR14). Then for the longer term, start developing a player-driven, menu-based tool per rophez_ESO's suggestion.Alphashado wrote: »There was a patch in the not-so-distant past that changed the LFG tool to wait until a full group was available before actually forming the group. That was the one that busted it. Before that patch, the LFG tool wasn't perfect, but it worked. I was always able to find a group for every single dungeon as I leveled up alts w/o much of a wait, regardless of role.
Since that change, we have also had the scaled dungeons implemented, and a few other changes (fixes) to the LFG tool. But that was the one that busted it.

Problem is, even spamming zone chat I'm getting no nibbles. I'm beginning to worry a bit.

Now that the appropriate people have received our feedback, what do they say? Will there be any further attempts to fix this, or is it working as intended?

The problem with zone chat is that it offers a severely limited number of players who can respond to your LFG. It doesn't get any better with Undaunted pledges. That's why LFG is so important and the question why it's still not fixed so mind boggling.
The fix we implemented in 1.5.7 did alleviate the long queue, but there are still a few outstanding bugs that we need to address:ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »Ok, thanks everyone. We're passing along all your feedback.
