I'm just really frustrated that we're seen as the enemy and not a resource to be worked with. It seems unless you're one of their "favourite" guilds you're ignored.

Maybe I am really just spoilt by what CCP Games offers me as a subscriber for EVE Online. I am however used to issues as big as this actually having developer conversation.
There when there is an issue we talk about it, we discuss the good and the bad, if CCP feel it's worth a change then they do so, if they don't want to change it they let the community know.

Here though we're seeing nothing normally, and when we do get replies most often it's via a community manager proxy* and not actually a communication with those actively involved in the development.

There was a talk recently from Andie Nordgren (CCP Segull, executive producer of EVE Online) about developing with a customer rather than for them.

    * No offence meant to the community team, they do a great job but sometimes we want access to a developer directly.

The issue with "night capping" isn't the issue of playing at night, it's flipping the entire map one color with little to no opposition. Then the prime time players log on with massive disadvantages and getting out of their gates a task and it gets old.

Night capers don't understand this because they log in to a usually well balanced map that they leave destroyed.

It's logging in to see your gates open or just owning a keep or three. It's starting in the same place (the beginning) every single day. It's going 'Ok, let's try to capture Rayles/KC/BB again to start' for the fiftieth time. It's fighting an opponent that has full buffs, an emperor to back them up, is organized, and you have nothing but a small team and the hope to get some even fights before the day ends with the zergball descending on you.

    I know what it's like.

Welcome to EP on Haderus. Wake up everyday to a yellow map. Except yesterday, very odd day. Woke up yesterday to a red and blue map!

I'm not going anywhere, this game is the most fun I've had in a long time and PvP on Haderus is a lot of fun. No lag, no crashing, just a lot of fun!

    Paul Sage,

Please read the above and at least tell us why ZOS can't hire just one human to give us the good and bad on a consistent basis? You create loyal customers by treating them as such, not turtling in/out with tidbits of info.

How about a meaningful and informative dialogue with your customers vs dedicating 70% of the only major interaction you've with us covering the art that WE create and the life story of your employees (which I do enjoy)?

Every pvp'er that drops sub is somebody they don't have to make happy. If they focus on pve and console release (and they are) they'll get roi. As far as AvA goes, if there are any players, then there are enough. Those of us staying only in Cyrodiil are banta fodder to them.

There is absolutely zero reason for me to quit this game right now. Nothing currently wrong with the game warrants me letting my paltry $15 subscription to run out. Hell I have a subscription to SWTOR and i barely play that game.

People act like $15 a month is a major deal, and a huge sacrifice to make.....

True, it only needs to be worth .50 a day. Frankly, I've paid more for less- and will again.

Well, to put that value into perspective, I just paid my water bill and ESO's sub is more than half of that value. For some of us, what we are paying is not that little of an amount.

That, however, is by the bye. At the end of the day, we pay for a service and expect all of it and right now, with the multiple issues surrounding the AvA experience, that is not what is happening.

I'll be around for a while. Although I have the advantage of not playing June through August (crazy work period), so I was quite behind when I started again at the end of August.

Very interested to see what changes 1.6 brings. If it as complete a balance overhaul as they claim, it will breath new life into PvP.

CU is simply too far out to really plan for. However, the ESO devs should be paying close attention. The CU devs have said nothing wrong yet, e.g. most of what they are promising I want.

Staying, just re-subbed for another 6 months, did this on the basis of 'when the game is working, it's very good'plus some of my old friends are back playing.

Feel free to add me if you are looking for a questing/PvP buddy. Also have alts I'm forever leveling.

Six days left on monthly sub. New cap lock is likely a positive for many aspects of the game. I doubt that it will be enough to keep me though. Maybe if one server had a pop cap of twenty-four... hmm maybe. Too late me thinks.

PVP has gotten stale which was to be expected with all the keeps and resources being a lot more the same than different.

Additionally, scores being the main motivator for so many leads to not only the gvg numbers game but also bad play overall. Super low risk taking endless loop casting blob groups usually do not offer an enjoyable fight even if they are effective at gaining points.

But yes, I am staying on Thorn as DC... for at least six more days.

I'm not gonna leave anytime soon, I'm actually planning to stay for quite a long time. Imagine the amount of content in 5-6 years if they keep updating at the current pace.

Tip: consider lag/bugs as content specials or ESO easter eggs, makes it a lot easier.

I stopped playing pvp for the most part, because of the excessive lag and other bs. But I'm still enjoying PvE and leveling up a new character to be a stamina dps. Love playing around with builds and testing them out. I do hope itemization and rewards in PvE will improve, especially for dungeons/pledges, as that will bring back at least a couple of my old guildies. But so far Im still staying.

Haven't done any PvP for a while now. Gone back to PvE. Different class, different leveling strategy, different crafts.... Still hoping to get back into PvP though.

Apart from the lag and the population imbalances, the main problem I see is the way players are rewarded. The behaviour it stimulates, collectively, just doesn't add up to an "alliance war".

It goes like cry cry cry = buff buff buff. This way are constantly buffed.

Dont ask me what was buffed, feel free to read the patch notes from the game month 3 untill now you will see: DK nerf NB buff.If you werent playing this game then, you can read the past updates as they remain in this forum. As nightblades are overbuffed in my opinion either ZoS likes it either didnt realized it yet.You might not be able to see it with your double resto build, but imagine a double resto dk lol.

TBH i dont care about nb buffs templar buffs or whatever, the nerfs made lots of DK's fed up and im one of them. The DK class starts slowly to be probably the weakest in pvp(between mass crowd)

Still with 29 day sub left but since i know what comes and what comes after that because all natural untalanted players are constantly fighting against DK class i aint gonna stay here getting: crashes lag and constant NERFS to the class i enjoy playing.

As many players told me they will stop when reflective scales nerf comes live(you will notice it in a while) i dont even have the need to wait for it,i dont use my account to play atm.Time to say "NO".

What people DONT realize is that DK's when reflecting and spamming talons that all other classes hate and want nerfed...They make room for those who whine NERF DK,the result of DK's not reflecting projectiles nubs pointing at them: those projectiles will reach the closest templar-sorc-nb instead that is whining on this forum. Can you fear projectiles? blazing shield projectiles? Streak away from projectiles? Each class has a great tool against the others. When people dont see it IT HELPS them as it exists.
(blazing shield is bugged and reflects projectiles back for the first 1-2 sec dont think anyone cried for this)

But i really dont think chriss that ill be here to see/enjoy what all those whiners did to themselfs.

    Think of this :)

I ran out of nails for your cross. Seriously. You would think that DKs single handedly keep keep their entire faction alive. I die from lethal arrows from time to time because there is jack *** that a DK can do to protect me from an arrow. There is no game mechanic that allows them to catch an arrow or any other projectile for me. And guess what? Now that they are finally fixing RS, that means I will take far less lethal arrows because people will start targeting the DKs again.
