Fortunately I initially joined the game for the pve/lore/being ES, PvP only came later (after a friend dragged me into it), and now spend a lot of time there...

Though pve-land still calls, so have two accs, one pvp focused, one pve focused, therefore I can switch around as needed, always stuff to do, meaning I won't be leaving at all

Until Star Citizen is fully released, then I may rethink my position.

Still with 29 day sub left but since i know what comes and what comes after that because all natural untalanted players are constantly fighting against DK class i aint gonna stay here getting: crashes lag and constant NERFS to the class i enjoy playing.

As many players told me they will stop when reflective scales nerf comes live(you will notice it in a while) i dont even have the need to wait for it,i dont use my account to play atm.Time to say "NO".

What people DONT realize is that DK's when reflecting and spamming talons that all other classes hate and want nerfed...They make room for those who whine NERF DK,the result of DK's not reflecting projectiles nubs pointing at them: those projectiles will reach the closest templar-sorc-nb instead that is whining on this forum.Can you fear projectiles? blazing shield projectiles? Streak away from projectiles? Each class has a great tool against the others.When people dont see it IT HELPS them as it exists.
(blazing shield is bugged and reflects projectiles back for the first 1-2 sec dont think anyone cried for this)

But i really dont think chriss that ill be here to see/enjoy what all those whiners did to themselfs.

I've been in the room, again both dev and leadership side and this is how it usually goes down. It's truly unfortunate, but to keep a business with limited resources and time afloat, such decisions/sacrifices must be made. Personally if this does keep ESO afloat such that PvP is epic eventually, I'm glad it's going down this way. A bit twisted I suppose.

I have been worried that this was the case since craglorn. I really hope you are wrong but it feels like you are right.

PvE'rs get soooo much attention from the devs.


I just can't wait for this PvP vs PvE issue to become a PC vs Console issue.

Skyrim sold much more console copies than PC. Thank about that.

After this current paid beta produces a console version, and ZOS has to pay M$ and Sony for every patch, do you really think they will prioritize PC users?

I can't wait to see the tears on this forum as the PC version wastes away with memory leaks and all developer attention is focused on console.


This is my prediction: ZOS will offer 1 way character ports to console and PC will be neglected just like PvP is being neglected now.

I'm playing around this month, with rolling a DC toon to try to help the population problem and seeing if there's improvements to the lag (pop lowering didn't work btw Zeni).

If things don't improve I'll be taking a month off till 1.6 comes out, but as someone else said until a better rvr game comes out I'll be in and out of this game.

I'm staying for now, for what it's worth. I'm giving it a few more months. But I see many people leave as well and that's frustrating. So, even for those of us who stay these will be difficult times. Still, I love the PvP the game offers and will try to stay positive and maybe avoid "lag-time".

And tbh PvE isn't that great... it's just that PvE players get much more new content, that's why they still stay in the game. Imo, there are too few "real" challenges in PvE and it's annoying to finish stuff at a certain difficulty level and in the next patch that same things are made less difficult =(

I just want some good fights without all the QQ in Zone when 75% of people on server are not doing anything useful

DC here but on a light break till somethings are fixed in pvp finally they keep saying they are fixing things, but think they just break things more some days. But still pvp anywhere from 30 mins to 2 hours a day.

Main issues for me is lag + balance.
I have hi hopes they will go a very very long way to correcting the balance issues in 1.6.
90% there would convince me to give them more time.
But I would still expect comprehensive (and most importantly effective) performance fixes following on by 1.7

There seems to be about a 3 month lag in forum topics and ZOS answering those points in game. I think they are trying to fix stuff.....but ESO is a fat bloater that takes time to change direction.

At lowest pop since release i will take all the trash I can get, our low pop is only further driving away more people from the DC side and allowing EP/AD to think they are awesome with a 1:4 advantage.

You can play the game any way you want and sit it zone chat all night long saying gross stuff as usual if you want, you did pay for the game to do that. I heard there is a Pug Whisperer that is Bragging to EP about the 150$ he ganked off a DC player.

I will play in Cyrodiil until there is only npcs left to fight. No matter the QQ and the bugs, this game is the most amazing game I have ever played.

I have no issue with nightcapping. They all pay to play the game. Gross? Most people find it arousing. Yes I donated $150 in good faith for teamspeak. So sue me. seems like you have the issues with our faction, not I.

There's weird sexual stuff in the chat of every online game. Every one. ESO is pretty tame compared to some I've seen. And its also rated M, if anybody's kids are reading zone chat it's their own fault.
