Hey, I just bought and downloaded the game and now I keep having a unable to download manifest error in the launcher. Anyone knows how to fix this?

If, and only if, you have a fully downloaded and patched client, you can ignore the 209 PatchManifest_Error, which will pop up from the Launcher from time to time. Do not click "Repair", just close the Launcher, the start it again. It should then say "Play" again, and the game should launch without problems.

If you're seeing another error, Customer Support forum is the place to go.

If you got 100% of the latest patch, just use eso.exe to launch the game and ignore the launcher (bugfest) until the next patch...
