As a Haderus native I can't say that I like the idea of letting keeps be taken so that one day we may regain an AD emperor. I will continue to defend our keeps and scrolls as much as I can. Though work and holidays begin to conspire against me more than usual.

Im not saying this is not the case... although it is not my personal belief i was not there in your ts. the timing seems a bit fishy to me as a massive force was takng inner keeps and on the last one the emp abdicates.

It makes little sense as to why one would intentionally sabotage ones own factions buff server because they did not want to be emp. What makes sense to me i have already stated previously.

I respect the fact you as AD defend your leader who is without a doubt a good player and competent leader. Again i respect all of you AD but think you deserve better. Then again ppl make mistakes hopefully i am wrong about the greed thing but i just dont see it

There are a lot of angry AD online right now. Just ran into a freight train at BRK Mine! I hope they realize that there will never be another AD Emperor unless EP/DC take over Alessia and Roebeck.

The day has been a lot of fun, No Emperor buff campaigns need to happen more often. Got ganked by Pixysticks on the way north from Black Boot; that alone made my day.

A "No Emperor" campaign is only going to attract guilds here to take it. The lure of "Former Emperor" buffs is just to strong to pass up!

There is already a new DC guild on Haderus trying to take Emperor tonight. However, they won't succeed, that freight train of AD has set their eyes on them.

Tonight some of us are actively protecting the ring so that neither DC or EP can crown. Once the campaign resets i intend to back off and let nature take its course.

Petty maybe but its denying the number 1 AD guy a chance to recap before reset.

tl;dr, once the scoreboards are zeroed, i might do a little AP grinding, but by all means cap the ring, at least it will be a level playing field from AD side then, without the "chosen one" being on top after screwing us over.

Yeah I am probably bringing the DK back to Haderus, moving the Templar to Chillrend, and moving the NB to Thorn.

Both chill/haderus reset at the same time, so we shall see how the shakeup goes. Chillrend was fun but only my small guild and another small guild ever really made any dent in it, and i think the 2 week experiment has run its course.

Anything to get off of lagblade most nights.

In all seriousness though, dropping Emp isn't something I'd do just ecause some random guy wants it because <reasons> and I'd be even more determined to keep Emp if I was offered Gold to drop it. That kind of behavior is just B/S as far as I'm concerned.

If the previous Emp dropped it because of pressure he/she was feeling, then fine. But really, that's a lesson for anyone getting Emp. Don't just get it and sit on your laurels, get it and do something with it. It's expected of you.

Emp farming isn't the epidemic it was earlier on, in most cases now getting Emp isn't easy street (although I know a few recent's that have played the get-your-mates-to-suicide-for-you-and-grab-the-AP game, and those that got Emp by doing that, and you know who you are, You actually cheated at a Video game, and I lol @ you!)

You do need to put in the hours, get the kills, and spend your AP on bricks for repairs any time it's required.

I don't want anyone to 'give up emp' nor do I think factions should give emp to another. It should be achieved only through hard fought battles. That's what PVP is supposed to be. Currently there's about 13 or so EP in my group and maybe smaller groups of 8-10 operating independently, but we get steamrolled by the main ADs' guild. If they don't give us the Barney Fife treatment DC sneaks in a keep,and if they focus on DC then we ninja keeps from them. It's a catch .22, but tbh I wouldn't have it any other way. We are supposed to pit our best against their best. I honestly wouldn't object if Ty got emp because he's one of the consistent strong players on AD, he's a *** mack truck and stomps alot of us before going down. I envision him as Tex's evil twin. He consistently gets into the top 10 because he's there holding the fort against us.

But in all honesty, Emp farming isn't going to fix itself, nor is zeni gonna fix it. Players have to make the conscious decision to say I earned this because I am the best, and I'll keep it until someone else passes me. That's why Tyago consistently got emp because he gets alot of kills and contributes to the success of a siege; assault, or defense. Ezareth, for all the hate he recieved, consistently got top spot because he worked out the intricacies of his class and played to the best of his capacity.

If someone gets emp, by all means hold onto it as long as YOU want, not at the behest of anyone else. If you have your jollies and say okay I wanna do something else, fine. If you wanna cut lose, by all means. Emp is meant to define a outstanding player. Sometimes the nature of Haderus being a short camp means the top player during a ring flip ends up being someone unexpected. That's how you get your Robert Pendragon or your Cuddler. But you know what that's fine. That's how you get the Saints or Bears at the Superbowl. That's what competition is supposed to be. It gets *** boring if it's always Colts/Steelers/Packers/Broncos 6 years in a row....

well... iv spent three hours in this campaign tonight... and only found THREE decent, fun fights. the rest was the typical zerg blob crap.

so yeah, screw hedarus. lol. my mind almost went numb with boredom. maybe i just missed all the epic battles.

Youprob did if you just finished recently there's very few EP on tonight. midday we had somewhere along 30+. It'd help if we had a couple more strong guilds and some DC competition. It's past midnight on my end, and EP doesn't have a good off-time population, maybe one or two from other time zones, or some night owls who work all day and pvp all night.

Im just a scrub with a tripot habbit i cant seem to kick with a less than impressive dps. But i still manage to have fun
