For PvE dps, potion speed glyphs > warlock... if you can afford chugging them

But when my PvP group is taking on groups twice our size it comes a lot down to how sustainable healers are. With warlock I can burst magica because your initial pool is essentially increased by the size of the proc, and it helps sustain. The value should not need explaining...
Even if its not procing as much because you are already sustaining well, that moment you run out and your potion is still cooldown boom that's when u need it most.
@poodlemasterb16_ESO , the +10 is at Stage 1 only, I assume, not a flat increase?poodlemasterb16_ESO wrote: »I dunno. I run a Seducer, Lamae, Soulshine set of sets. She is a Vampire so 10 health regen is nice and the spell power as well.
I'm well into the orange on Max Magic and Magic Regen and running out is extremely rare, The 8% all the time is golden

I use 5 Seducer/5 Warlock for my caster NB in vet dungeons and I love it.Spell power cap and 58% spell crit is enough to get the dps required for any dungeon boss.
Add to that capping Spell damage is disturbingly easy (even with zero Spell damage set bonuses).
At VR10 with Epic armor, Legendary Staves, Green Jewelry I am capped for Magicka, Spell Damage and almost Magicka Regen with 55.2-59.2% Spell Crit depending on Cyro bufs. Food takes me well over Magicka cap ofc. I use the legendary Spell Damage glyphs on my Jewelry, that's 14 each right there, but I have zero set bonuses for Spell Damage, I'm a crit build for DPS and Crit/Mag reduction for Healing. I will say for Healing though I have to choose capping Spell damage or cost reduction. Since Resto staff doesn't use Spell damage (for now) I choose cost reduction.I use 5 Seducer/5 Warlock for my caster NB in vet dungeons and I love it.Spell power cap and 58% spell crit is enough to get the dps required for any dungeon boss.Add to that capping Spell damage is disturbingly easy (even with zero Spell damage set bonuses).
What are you guys using to cap spell power/damage? I'm close but can't seem to hit the softcap.....
Warlock isn't overrated. It's one of the best sets due to two reasons:
* Magicka management is key
* Only a few sets have Amulet/Jewelry pieces and few sets that even have jewelry pieces that are that useful, especially in PvP.
I have used the 5 piece necromancer for weeks with the 5 piece warlock and thought just like you. I still have it in my bank for those rare farming sessions.
It seems that many people dont know this or dont agree, the necromancer set is very cheap to get. Most people focus on spell or weapon crit, not on survivablity. But we can have different sets for different situations cant we?
