Pulled aggro on the last bosses with 20+ zombies up then killed everything and didn't get the gold key.
Also, we wiped a few times on Garron and when I wayshrined one time it took me back to the very beginning. And when I ran back through Malubeth had respawned??
Since when do mobs respawn in an instanced dungeon?
I can only guess that whatever caused that to fail also kept us from getting the complete on the gold key, but they could be unrelated.
Anyways, very frustrating to finally battle through the dungeon and get the same reward that could have been garnered on an easy FG on normal mode.

✭✭✭✭If you pull all the zombies and start the final fight but fail how do you go about trying it again? Does the prior attempt still count or are you screwed because the zombies are gone?Retired.

Valymer✭✭✭✭✭No it doesn't count, on a previous attempt (last week I think) we did just that. The tunnel and room to the right of the boss have a total of 15 zombies, so I guess they are kind of like a safety net if you fail on the first try but kill all of the preceding zombies in the process.
But this time we did the exact same thing as last time and didn't get the complete...I get the feeling that our instance was just bugged. Frustrating
Edit: I mean that you can still get the achievement if you re-pull another 15 zombies into the boss, but I'm not sure if you get it after you just kill the boss normally without zombies (on the second try)Edited by Valymer on November 14, 2014 4:15PM0 -

This was changed in 1.5. The amount of zombies in that side room went from 12 to 15 (the # for gold key/achievement, not 20) and they re-spawn if you die. Just like the Opus at the end of vet EH is not permanently disintegrated when you burn it, it will respawn if you fail.If you pull all the zombies and start the final fight but fail how do you go about trying it again? Are you sure you aren't pullin' a doh' moment? Or its easily possible one died before you hit boss. We wiped a few times after trying the final boss on EH and when we finally beat him I got excited. Went back to receive my key and got a silver key.. thinking back on it I don't think anyone burnt the book hehe
