I know this may be a bit cheeky, but if you guys spent 1 afternoon running dungeons you would have stacks of soul gems.
Soul gems are so easy to fil with the Soul magic passives. Plus, you get more than enough from pvp rewards. I don't even know why anyone would think about buying them from cyro vendors. Unless 90% of your playtime is to seek white crosses on the ground, there is no reason why you would need to buy more.
[edit]: I actually think it's a great thing to put a high AP cost. This way it discourages some people to spend their AP in stuff to resell for gold instead of actually participating into buying sieges and helping the cause of their faction to win and complete objectives.

Thought that Grand Soul Gems already captured other player's souls...
You don't think ressing other players helps "the cause of their faction to win and complete objectives"? Or perhaps only things that fall within your narrow definition "help the cause".Soul gems are so easy to fil with the Soul magic passives. Plus, you get more than enough from pvp rewards. Don't expect the price to fall until 1.6 when they hopefully release the seasonal gear for pvp. When I discussed this with him at the guild summit, he didn't feel like putting gear out there when everyone has so much ap. So this is his opportunity to get that ready imo. Save your points for upcoming gear or spend them to help your alliance, your choice.

(I am not joking)

That would be awesome. I love this idea.
Gives reasons to have soul trap on a pvp bar. And gives value to the passive that gives you an inherent chance to trap a soul on a weapon attack kill.
@ZOS_GinaBruno
@ZOS_BrianWheeler
Make it happen!
