Anyone ever realized...

The sheer size/number of posts on the Customer Support forum? like its only 400 behind General Discussion taking up slightly less than 1/3 of this forum our AW pales in comparison. It really must be amateur hour over there at ZOS. I was having a chat to my friend today we have both been long time TES fans we used to play Morrowind side by side and then Oblivion, during Skyrim we were at different stages of life but that's getting side tracked.

We were in a debate about the quality of this game and when it will be "par" to other MMOs past and present. I originally said 6 months at release (lucky I didn't throw money on it), now I'm saying 9 months if it doesn't go F2P in that time frame if that does happen this game is doomed. Either way 15 Months of paying for beta testing is too long. A couple of things bugging me is how will Cyrodiil possibly transport over to Console with the need for zone communication i can't see too many people wanting to role out a key board on PS4 or Xboxboned?

Will we ever see the Imperial city? Will we get game and server stability? Will we ever get closed world PvP options (Arena etc)? or will the community get sick of it and leave? what's your thoughts?

PvE Discussion numbers 3.1K while PvP is at 3.4K. The Guild Headquarters has 4.1 K threads. PTS numbers only 740 while the closed beta forum, before going largely inactive once testing opened up publicly, had over 5K thread topics in it.

What do these numbers tell us. Nothing. You can't really draw statistical conclusions from the number of topics on a subforum.

Clearly with THAT many numbers in the place people go for help and game problems being equal pegging with General discussion means something is horribly wrong.

I play MMOs on all three, PC/PS3/PS4, console MMO players tend to use keyboards rather than the default popup virtual keyboard. Some still don't use it, but it's really not any different then some people not even having zone chat on or saying where they saw the opposing faction. This will still occur there like it does for us.

In my opinion, it's easier for console players to communicate because when you join a group, you get a built in voice channel, and even if you don't have a mic, people's voices will come through. Really all consoles will need is guild/raid leaders with a keyboard for zone, and enough other players and they will be fine. My experience in other games is there will be enough doing this.

You're forgetting that until May this forum didn't even have General Discussion - until then everyone used either New Player Questions or Customer Support for general threads. The New Player part was merged, but there are still some threads left hanging in CS.
What's more, the CS section houses all threads about launch issues, and there were oh so many. Dozens of questions ranging from restoring accidentaly deleted pets to launcher troubles, payment issues, the infamous bank bug and a stream of rollbacks - most of them fixed now, maybe except the launcher

. There are pages upon pages of this stuff. I don't think the number of threads in that section is a good indicator of the game's current condition.

You're trying to construct a case of doom and gloom from the fact that a customer service forum exists and that it's used for its intended purpose?

And all of this to apply physical force to a deceased member of the Equidae family? Again? You must be truly desperate by now...

Ok I see your points, silly post on my behalf just the numbers balked me a little!
I stayed up to watch the rugby and my mind seems to have shut off =(

Certainly was Wallabies won by 5. Brilliant running open play in the first half, nitty gritty tight stuff in the second exactly what you want. Any game that goes down to the last minute is always a good one.
