I don't even know if there are any AD guilds on Haderus. I know that I am not in any and have basically had to learn through experiencing many failures. I feel that a lot of the players in our alliance are doing the same thing and it's sink or swim and many are still sinking. I've gone through a variety of builds and two skill respecs and I feel like I'm getting better but it is a slow process.
But there just doesn't seem to be any leadership on Had. I try to follow the lead of the more experienced people there, but it feels insufficient. When I see people repeatedly zone chatting "LFG" I eventually start inviting them and end up with a decent sized pug. They still don't all follow directions or anything, but yesterday I feel my 10-12 man pug did a pretty good job helping retake Alessia when the scroll was taken.
I also spent a ton on repairing keeps yesterday. I feel like I should start my own PVP guild, maybe call it Squat Team Alpha or The Free Masons.
I do have some perspective though. Yesterday evening I spent some time on my guest campaign Chillrend and got invited into a group that, well, a picture is worth 1000 words:
Mind you, this is not the only time they were dancing naked. Then when the siege actually began they were fighting naked. THEY HAD TO BE TOLD TO PUT CLOTHES ON FOR THE KEEP DEFENSE. Is that the mindset you end up with when you play on another alliance's buff server? It was all very strange. Then Rylana and friends rode in and made us all look like chumps by farming blues for awhile while vastly outnumbered.
So we may not have vocal leadership on Haderus, but mostly I still have fun even though there are some annoyances here and there. I'll take the occasional lemming crew over people dancing naked on keep walls. But we absolutely need to work on tactics.
And I agree gate camping is lame.
Practice practice practice... trying to take fights you know you will lose... being out numbered, ppl you know are very solid players and keep at it... the only way to get better is challenging yourself. It will pay off in the end

We've been at it there for a few months now but we've long since resigned to the fact that nothing we capture will remain red throughout the night. Sometimes our small crew (Usually consisting of 1 partially full raid group) can hold a resource, a keep or even a few keeps for the better part of the day but every night it's the same thing. AD goes up to 2 bars population and runs us over with 10x our number and nothing but Shield Stacking, Impulse + Bat Spamming and an absolute hard on for anything red on the map.
You ask why we farm and dont take inner ring? That is why. We can usually hold our own for a good while before some of our guys log out to go to bed. If AD didn't already steam roll us with superior numbers (+ all the buffs) before hand, then they just PVDoor the keeps back while we're sleeping.
Honestly most of us don't even log in any more. I myself am waiting until update 5 rolls out. If Update 5 does not fix the population disparity and buff server problems then quite frankly I am done with ESO all together. My sub runs out 2 days after 5 is supposedly being implemented. I imagine I will not be resubbing but I am trying my hardest to stay positive. I imagine much of our crew feels similar about this.
I will say this though. Even though we are always heavily outnumbered - when I examine my Kill Counter every AD (Bar a select few) are listed as 'On Farm' with over 100-200 kills and almost as many killing blows. One thing I can say for sure is that Haderus teaches you to learn your character and learn how to best work with your team. Unless your AD. Then it teaches you how to die over and over again then call for help because your entire server population can't push a single raid out of 1 resource without having 2 bars pop to our 21 guys.

Your comment doesn't support the numerous amount of data that has been submitted about the lag despite peoples PC. It's the number of people zerging in a ball. The devs have even said so.
I use alienware, I never lag. Logic fail.
Ezareth... whats going on with you? Was yesterday just a bad day? Usually we go toe to toe for a long while then you put a nail in my coffin. Right before you logged we were 1v1... did you just give up or want to suicide?

I saw a group of 30 coordinated EP farming a group of 30 AD pugs at the KC mine last night. I only picked off some people here and there to maintain my top 2% Status and logged. PvP on Haderus has been boring since the EP that would come crown your group stopped coming, maybe you guys should have let a few of them get Emp, they might have been encouraged to stay and help. As it stands your group does nothing but sit behind gates or turtling a resource all day and attack undefended keeps. I can't really blame you guys buy farming AP all day every day but it gets old. That's the chief reason I'm not a legate right now, I can't stand just mindlessly killing people who have no chance day in day out. I've got to be challenged.
I'm still waiting to see this "10 x" your number of AD. At most it is 1.5-2 times your number when we take keeps. The number of AD never jumps to 2 bars unless you guys stealth cap a home keep or scroll. Your numbers have been steadily growing day by day while the number of active AD continues to dwindle.
My own subscription ends a few days after 1.5 as well. I think we're going to see a mass exodus very shortly as that is when the majority of 6 month subscription players lapse. I can't say I'm planning on resubscribing from what I've seen so far but maybe if I get bored I'll come back at some point.

I was trying to suicide to go turn in quests and log as evidenced by me trying to kill you with my sword while still maintaining my shields (=
Then that VR1 templar came and ruined my fun, but yeah I can barely stand to play on Haderus any more. Same names, same turtle tactics and a ton of terrible pugs running around on my side make for very boring PvP.
You guys all know me and my tactics so I get either a feast (Zerg) or Famine (no one) to chase any more. I think several of my guildies are feeling the same and are looking elsewhere come next week.
the only good EP player that plays there is ebonheart templar, armitas (sp?) is decent too, but theres literally no other good EP on haderus that ive seen. AD has almost 0 good players as well, maybe like 2-3 max. theres no reason to be on haderus unless youre a pver or youre going for emp, or else youre trying to make a pvp video and need loads and loads of bad players to kill

It takes all kinds of players and skill sets to make for great PvP. For some its killing a known player to gain a sense of accomplishment. For others its killing several at a time. And some just contributing to the faction goal... whatever the case we all have our places in PvP.
I get that sometimes ppl get frustrated but here is something i live by and has helped me over the years.
If you are arguing with someone and you start yelling and showing frustration.... right or wrong you just lost that argument.
I may not be the best player in the game or even a good player. But fyi i along with many other ppl dont play solely to gloat that we are.
I may be a scrub but i bet im having more fun than those of you sitting around calling ppl bad all day long.

Hoping in 1.5 we can with a fresh start have some really good ongoing PvP. Good fights and back and forth battles each and every night... here's to hopin

The person he was quoting has been the biggest "Bad apple" out of your whole group. He's been bragging on these forums for months (the amusing thing is his bragging is the reason I switched over to Haderus full time) and any time he loses it is because of exploiting or "zergs". He wildly exaggerates almost everything and doesn't really fix with the rest of the example of your group who have been generally modest an respectful.
I'm surprised he can still get a rise out of anyone at this point. He's like the Iraqi Information Minister of ESO.

You need to take a long hard look in the mirror my friend, you're the very thing you "claim" to hate. You have some serious cognitive dissonance going on here.

Ok makes sense now.... was like wtf... even a false sense of accomplishment. Had to ask since it was so out of character. Well we had some good fights but i can understand looking elsewhere. As of late it seems to be a new trend to feed on me, its still makes me laugh knowing how funny it is to do that to someone but after half a dozen times im laughing with a wimper or two thrown in.
GL to you all if you decide to move

Oh god, just stop. Zergballing is a tactic that you damn well know has nothing to do with your supposed builds. What? You think b/c you have stupid names for your crew like "brick houses" and "Anti-bolters" somehow your not using cheesy zerg tactics that require ZERO SKILL?"WarrioroftheWind_ESO wrote: »I'd hardly classify our EP core as a zergball.
