Haderus (NA) No Whining

After seeing the organization I knew EP already had and watching the adorable PuGs run up to Drakelowe keep like "Shoot me shoot me!" And getting their response in the form of a dozen Lethal Arrows... I had this look on my face.

And could only think to myself, "EP..? Y u no take map?!?!"
Yeah yeah, give it enough time and the PvErs could come clean you guys up because buffs. But the speed at which you took BB later in the day made me revert back to my original thinking, you guys could speed cap the inner keeps then hold them. So y u no do it? Y u farm... Stahp farming.. Stahp it!

Oh and before you say anything about the PvErs coming to clean it up, you could just steamroll them with your guys' doctorate in Oil. cough Vortex cough

I wasn't there but fighting outnumbered at 2 bars with a full complement of emp and buffs, and the certainty that the night cappers will undo it all, or people will exploit the scrolls back doesn't leave much motivation for flipping keeps. Giving an explanation that doesn't include that is like trying to give an explanation for why the water froze without mentioning the fact that it was left outside in below freezing temps.

It's a buff server, all we can expect is perpetual disappointment or go to Thornblade and expect perpetual lag. Man I'm really a Debbie downer today.

Can't play on thorn due to the lag and the queues. All there is left are buff servers. It does happen on all the servers, that doesn't make it justifiable or any less ridiculous. If you read the OP I am giving him the explanation for why they are only farming. I guess it takes a genius to read words.

This is why I get confused when people cry loud enough to produce enough electricity to power a small city complaining about thornlag. We try to encourage people to distribute across existing servers, of which there are plenty of, but people prefer to hoard buffs.

As for TB EP I believe they decided to fully commit to maintaining their tenuous lead. Also some of them honked us natives off when they tried to force our top players to bow out so they could flip emperor for their newbs. That didn't sit well with us at all. We work *** hard to secure a node, let alone a fort, and some days AD refuses us to leave the *** *GATE*. Really it's the impulse batmonkeys that ruin things. They cannot be stopped short of having even greater numbers. There's currently 10 of EP in zone and all we can do is watch as AD's pulse monkey zerg steamrolls what took us hours to cap.

This^. Would love to hear an explanation for why "mah buffs" are important enough to ruin pvp in this game.

The "mah buffs" crowd leave pvpers with two choices in cyrodiil.

A. Play under insane lag and queues
B. Play against 3-4x your number with buffs and emp.

if thorn is always laggy for you, you need a new pc. i get lag maybe once a day, along witht he majority of people who play there. if your pc sux so bad you can only play on servers that no one plays on, dont come to ther forums to complain aboutr it

It's pretty discouraging to say the least. I am one of the raid leaders of the only active Haderus EP guild (M4D/Immortali). We've been at it there for a few months now but we've long since resigned to the fact that nothing we capture will remain red throughout the night. Sometimes our small crew (Usually consisting of 1 partially full raid group) can hold a resource, a keep or even a few keeps for the better part of the day but every night it's the same thing. AD goes up to 2 bars population and runs us over with 10x our number and nothing but Shield Stacking, Impulse + Bat Spamming and an absolute hard on for anything red on the map.

You ask why we farm and dont take inner ring? That is why. We can usually hold our own for a good while before some of our guys log out to go to bed. If AD didn't already steam roll us with superior numbers (+ all the buffs) before hand, then they just PVDoor the keeps back while we're sleeping.

Honestly most of us don't even log in any more. I myself am waiting until update 5 rolls out. If Update 5 does not fix the population disparity and buff server problems then quite frankly I am done with ESO all together. My sub runs out 2 days after 5 is supposedly being implemented. I imagine I will not be resubbing but I am trying my hardest to stay positive. I imagine much of our crew feels similar about this.

I will say this though. Even though we are always heavily outnumbered - when I examine my Kill Counter every AD (Bar a select few) are listed as 'On Farm' with over 100-200 kills and almost as many killing blows. One thing I can say for sure is that Haderus teaches you to learn your character and learn how to best work with your team. Unless your AD. Then it teaches you how to die over and over again then call for help because your entire server population can't push a single raid out of 1 resource without having 2 bars pop to our 21 guys.

You are correct about most of the peeps running in and dieing single file .this is very frustrating as they are told over and over that you guys are just there for the farming & not to play your game. must be funny for you.
cant say that I have seen us call for help though dont need to people just show up my guess is that they are sick of Thornblade too.

Your comment doesn't support the numerous amount of data that has been submitted about the lag despite peoples PC. It's the number of people zerging in a ball. The devs have even said so.

This one would just like to say that they have been paying attention to those population bars this last week. As Telel was busy refi ing their new skirmishing builds they tried to see if the dominion sorts truly did need more pop to succeed.

Oddly enouugh they discovered that we either have been getting better or our most highly skilled scratching posts in the pact have been growing fat and lazy on newb meat. Until the evenings roll in us loyal subjects of Queen Razum-Dar maintain a one bar population fairly consistently. Keep in mind that bar also includes a number of non combatant types who have yet to learn of the 'fun' to be had in g etting jumped by the same ten flappity flaps huddled under the mother hens known as resource guards.

Though we're vstill burdened by a large number of lemmings and leeches as yesterdays fun at drakelowe proved.

This humble and decidedly unskilled looter of your cooling corpse has also noticed a decided inability for their opponents to function offensively. When Telel has more time they would be glad to explain further. For now they will simply say they enjoyed the 800 ap per kill they made defending a camp at drakelowe until backup arrived and this one had to log.

Finally this one would like to say they hope all the gate campers end up on hermaes mora's naughty list

you tell the emperor/ress and their 40+ underlings to stop camping the gates.... stop nightcapping(I used to hesitate using the term nightcapping, but its appropriate for the AD on hedarus) and stop exploiting the scrolls... oh and stop getting the other "elite" players from those 5+ other guilds, to defend your server like its the end of the world, when EP or DC does nothing but take back their home keeps.....

as soon as you people start playing with some sportsmanship in mind, then EP and DC will actually do something besides farming your sorry behinds.

thankfully buff servers will go soon.

But yeah except for the batmonkeys and the small 'elite' guild on AD, it's like playing Orcs Must Die or any other TD game where the mobs go on a predetermined path and make futile attacks before being chewed up by spells melee and siege. Last night at KC LM we would let AD grow a pair and try pushing the flag then we'd ball up and rush them until only one person was left standing (conveniently by BE whenever shields dropped). It was funny as hell, and somehow we get tells accusing of us zerging. Honestly I think we were evenly matched, we just had more skilled players and better tactics.

8( also for that v10 who tired to kill me at the milegate between Bleakers and Chalman, I really don't know why I warranted bats...you rushed at me stabstabstabstabstab dududududdudududu like a episode of DBZ and I got saved by backup in time,but honestly....bats? on one person? if you're a NB with stabby stab there's got to be a better ult for single target.

I bolded the part I'm curious about. Do you really think that buff servers will end with 1.5?
Unless they remove the buffs from PVE or reduce the number of servers to two, then I just don't see it ending. We may see an initial stirring up of the servers but after awhile I think they will go back to the way they are now.

I don't even know if there are any AD guilds on Haderus. I know that I am not in any and have basically had to learn through experiencing many failures. I feel that a lot of the players in our alliance are doing the same thing and it's sink or swim and many are still sinking. I've gone through a variety of builds and two skill respecs and I feel like I'm getting better but it is a slow process.

But there just doesn't seem to be any leadership on Had. I try to follow the lead of the more experienced people there, but it feels insufficient. When I see people repeatedly zone chatting "LFG" I eventually start inviting them and end up with a decent sized pug. They still don't all follow directions or anything, but yesterday I feel my 10-12 man pug did a pretty good job helping retake Alessia when the scroll was taken.

I also spent a ton on repairing keeps yesterday. I feel like I should start my own PVP guild, maybe call it Squat Team Alpha or The Free Masons.

I do have some perspective though. Yesterday evening I spent some time on my guest campaign Chillrend and got invited into a group that, well, a picture is worth 1000 words:

Mind you, this is not the only time they were dancing naked. Then when the siege actually began they were fighting naked. THEY HAD TO BE TOLD TO PUT CLOTHES ON FOR THE KEEP DEFENSE. Is that the mindset you end up with when you play on another alliance's buff server? It was all very strange. Then Rylana and friends rode in and made us all look like chumps by farming blues for awhile while vastly outnumbered.

So we may not have vocal leadership on Haderus, but mostly I still have fun even though there are some annoyances here and there. I'll take the occasional lemming crew over people dancing naked on keep walls. But we absolutely need to work on tactics.

And I agree gate camping is lame.

Practice practice practice... trying to take fights you know you will lose... being out numbered, ppl you know are very solid players and keep at it... the only way to get better is challenging yourself. It will pay off in the end
