Without further details about your setup, we can't give much help here. The error message you've described is a general Windows message when a process got exceptionally terminated.

What are your system's specs (OS, hardware)? Are they within the minimum system requirements?

i dont know, how do i figure that out?

Do you know the brand and model of your computer?

For basic information, right-click on the "Computer" icon on your desktop, then select "Properties". You'll get a general overview about your Windows version, CPU, and installed RAM. As for yor graphics card, you might try looking for it in the Device Manager, which can be reached from the same window.

    Hey @chrispixx,
Sorry to hear that you’re having trouble launching the game.
    Please try the following workaround:

Locate the The Elder Scrolls Online game file. It’s normally located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client\eso.exe
    • Right click on eso.exe and select Properties at the bottom of the list.
    • Once the Properties window is open, select the Compatibility tab.
    • Select the option to “Run this program in compatibility mode” and from the drop-down menu, select “Windows XP SP3” (it may say Service Pack 3).
    • Select the option “Always run this program as an Administrator” For ease of use, right-click the eso.exe file and select “Send To…”
    • From the subsequent slide-out menu, select “Desktop (Create Shortcut)”. This will allow you a very easy, quick way of opening a game running in compatibility mode.
Please let us know if that fixed the problem.

    Hey there @chrispixx,

Since you're on Vista, the compatibility tab won't appear for you. We went ahead and created a support ticket for you. A CS agent will be able to gather the information they need and assist you a bit further. Thanks for your patience!
